What do you mean? u think i'm a saint? haha

I'm no saint, I'm just a realistic man

Not understanding even the most basic parts of physics is being realistic?

I'd consider denying reality (which is what you're doing) to be the very definition of unrealistic.

The waving flag is the "evidence" for us not being on the moon... oh dear.

http://youtu.be/bahFJhx5Z7s?t=6m57s

This is of STS-61, where they were repairing the Hubble Space Telescope. As you can see, the solar panel "flaps" as the space shuttle's thruster pushes it away. This is because some seriously basic laws of physics; every action has an equal and opposite reaction. When you push on something, and it bends, it is storing energy in the bends, and it's preferential to go to the lowest energy state (~unbent).

This is the same thing happening on the Moon, it's just instead of thrusters being at fault, it's a man's.

Also where the hell do you think they were going, with 6 million pounds of fuel in the most powerful rocket ever constructed?

Hey for u people saying that God doesn't exist or there's no way to prove that

Believe it or not i saw and heard a lot of things that made me sure that God exists

For example look at the galaxy, how are all those planets moving in an order more accurate than a Swiss watch. And why the earth is the only livable planet? All that happened by coincidence? I don't think so

The motion of the planets isn't some mystery to us, it's some complex maths, but nothing out of the reach of human understanding. To make it grossly simple; everything is falling towards the sun, but away from it at a sufficient rate as to not fall in. The reactions of the individual bodies are so minimal, because distances are so great, that they're "allowed" to have stable orbits. The Earth Moon system is just that they're sufficiently close as to be "tied" to each other. If the Moon moves far enough away (and it will, in an extremely long time) then it would escape Earth's orbit, and sort of just drift off into a solar orbit. And to a very similar effect, the motion of the galaxy itself.

Earth is the only planet that we know of which can naturally support life 'as we know it'. We can't explore other solar systems, nor have we explored "near by" places like Enceladas or Europa, and we've only barely scratched the surface of Mars. There are hundreds of billions of stars in our galaxy, and over a hundred billion galaxies in the visible universe. Even if only 1 billion billionth of the stars in the observable universe had planets that had life, there would still be millions of examples.

And that means what? there's no God ?! All of what u talked about happened by coincidence ?!

We can't really say, which is why deities should be disregarded.

One should'nt have to prove that there are no gods, because it still has'nt been proven even remotely plausible that one actually exists.

And if one did, it'd be pretty damn terrifying, since it'd certainly not have our best interests in mind.

Lol people still don't believe we landed on the moon. If there was air the flag would always be moving, it wasn't until he moved past it. He might have touched it or it could have been electro static.

No, if this was a studio for films_witch is possible_ the flag will not move until some power moves the air.

And no,he didn't touch it at all, and it's impossible to be electro static moving the flag like that.

So the flag was moved by the air witch was caused by the moving man witch means the whole thing was fake.

And look at the way the flag was moving, that's the way the air moves things.

If there is air the flag will always be moving a little, it does not move AT ALL until he moves past it.

Static actually provides the best explanation and no it is not impossible.

Actually the video is good evidenced that there is no air.

No it is, if there was air the flag would move a lot differently.

See, no understanding of physics. On the moon there is no air. That means there is no air resistance, so the movements caused by shaking the shaking the flag while carrying it and putting it in the ground last much longer on the moon than on earth.

Actually a theory is as close to fact as you can possibly get. Gravity is just a theory, does that mean gravity isn't real?

There are some easy to read papers if you search around a little.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2430337/

This one's dandy. And I'll give you a brief summary, so you can be lazy.

The particular strain of E. coli could not use, an oxic, glucose-limited medium containing citrate, as a carbon source. Every day 1% of all 12 populations of E. coli was frozen and every 75days (~500 generations) a large sample were frozen, to preserve micro evolutionary states. Though remaining viable to unfreeze. All populations evolved larger cell volumes and lower maximum population densities.

The population Ara-3, after ~31 500 generations with every possible point mutation occurring multiple times, was the first strain of citrate using E. coli to evolve. The genomes of twenty-nine clones isolated from various time points in the Ara-3 pupulation, were sequenced to reconstruct the phylogenetic history of the population. They found that the population had diversified into three clades by 20 000 generations. Of that, the Citrate(Cit+) using variants were found in "Clade 3".

It was found that the Cit+ varients all had a duplication mutation of 2933 base pairs, involved for the citrate transporter protein used in anerobic(w/o oxygen) growth on citrate on the normally dormant citT gene. Creating a new regulatory module placing the citT gene under the control of a promoter for an adjacent gene called 'mk'.

The researchers conclude that the evolution of the Cit+ trait suggests that new traits evolve through three stages: potentiation, in which mutations accumulate over a lineage's history that make a trait accessible' actualization, in which one or more mutation render a new trait manifest; and refinement, in which the trait is improved by further mutations.

Have you ever gotten a cold? Have you gotten a cold more than once? If yes, that is proof of evolution. The cold virus is constantly and quickly evolving, which is why it is able to infect you multiple times.

Don't be a dummy.

lies, god gives us colds. There a a few christian groups that sell tissues with crosses on them. That is the only reason we get colds.

I only have three thoughts on God.

1. He doesn't existed.

2. If he did exist, he's nothing more than a deadbeat creator to me...

3. I think the game Mass effect gives good explanation (but certainly NOT PERFECT) when one guy in the game says "A god — a real god — is a verb. Not some old man with magic powers. It's a force. It warps reality just by being there. It doesn't have to want to. It doesn't have to think about it. It just does." Sort of what our sun does IMO. Without the sun, the Earth would be drifting through the dark, cold, and empty space with no means to really sustain complex life. We wouldn't have plants to give us oxygen as they feed off of the suns solar energy and our lakes would be frozen. It also helped create life (Or at least set the wheels in motion). So if I'm forced to call something God, I'd rather the sun fulfill that role....

I don't remember seeing that quote in Mass Effect. When was that said?

EDIT: Ah, nevermind, I found it. All the times I've played through the series and I still never found that. . .****, but I love Mass Effect.

If you could choose anything, you would be a sun worshiper?

Okay

No, I wouldn't worship the sun lol. Just allow it to be the placeholder for the title "God"...

There isn't anything I consider worth worshiping....

I only have three thoughts on God.

1. He doesn't existed.

2. If he did exist, he's nothing more than a deadbeat creator to me...

God is transcendent yet immanent, omnipresent yet spirit, holy yet loving, infinite yet personal, one yet three, invisible yet revealing, judge yet redeemer. God is self-existent, immutable, eternal, omniscient, the first cause. God exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God the Lord, the great I AM.

God is good, for the scared, the lost, and without those who lack an inner moral compass.
