@EagleEyedOne: because most of what you said doesn't make sense. Perhaps you need to go back to school
Oh boy, once again, how exactly does what I have said not make sense?

Because you have failed to explain how a god can be an equilibrium.
Don't try, he's too stupid
I am pretty sure it resides inside my butthole, but I am too afraid to do what is necessary to find out.
If we're created in God's image, then why are humans such assholes? And if God is perfect, why are we the farthest from it?
God brings people together as a unit so we can do things with the expense of the kindness in our hearts.
I hate to be the cynic, but God also tears families and communities apart, and inspires many towards malevolence and murderous violence. It may not be intended that way, but since "God" (I think) has been defined here as merely a concept defined by the individual, it is very easy to say this is also true.
The focus should be placed on the individual's ability to choose compassion over hate, and selflessness over greed, for the sake of it, rather than trying to define it as some other-worldly being or force. A person giving to charity, doing a good deed, or even just being nice, because they want to and not wish any recognition or reward for it is infinitely more positive and beneficial to humanity than those who only do good out of a desire for reward, or fear of punishment. In this world or another.
This reminds me of the time I was sitting on my ass eating Cheetos and I saw an article about Kid Rock building houses for homeless people. "Pfft, f*** that guy," I said. "He's only doing that for publicity."
In any case, I think there are enough people NOT doing good for us to be able to accept a good deed as a good deed and not get all $hitheaded about the reasons. "He only did it for fame" or "he only did it for money" or "he only did it to get brownie points from god" are sort of bull$hit.
