I fvcking hate watching tragic romance movies with my wife. She starts to tear up, then it happens to me. The Time Travellers Wife really got me.
Saving private Ryan.

I'll second this. When a character dies, its just so shocking and hard to watch, especially after the ending invasion sequence with Tom Hanks... man, that was tough.
Forrest Gump made me sad too, when Bubba died. He just wanted to go home.
Ummm... The Iron Giant, and the closing cinematic of MGS3 where Snake salutes at The Boss's grave. megageneisnt that mgs4?
Umberto D. is the saddest movie of all time, especially if you have a dog. It also isn't explotative like other movies containing animals that simply kill them off to create sadness.
the first Pokemon Movie when Ash sacrifices himself so that Mewtwo and Mew don't kill each other and then pikachu and the other pokemon cry and revive Ash with their tears.Post is full of win.ZumaJones07
Forrest Gump, Titanic, Brokeback Mountain, Return of the King, Toy Story 3, It's a Wonderful Life.
Even the goodbye song in Muppets Take Manhattan nearly made me tear up.

Gotta add Rocky III to the list. Everytime I get to the scene where Mickey talks to Rocky before dying, it always puts a lump in my throat.
