getting more socialist wouldnt save aemerica as the government would waste all the money for wars and stuff, america needs to get rid of the corrupt goverment and than establish socialism.

Lol at the logic of this pic. I know a few people who have degrees and can't even get a job in what they are major in. They are still working in fast food stuff.

UniverseIX

degrees in what? a degree is not a set for life contract, nor does it make you useful

The type of degree doesn't matter because the premises is if one works hard they can be whatever they want. Clearly, that's not true. The cartoon doesn't say "If you have the right degree you can be whatever you want." It merely says if you "work hard". And that is what he was pointing out. Working hard is not an end all to being happy and doing what you want to do in life. There are many factors involved.

the cartoon is not true depicition of reality in any sense.

you can work your ass off being a phillosiphor, become an historical one, and still be a flee ridden bumb Diogenes proved that. just because youre good at something and work hard at it does not mean you will be rich, it just means you are good at that thing.... "i want to be a great artist and i am going to work hard doing it" ok you may well become a great artist, that does not mean you will be rich and one does not need to be employed in a trade to be successful in that trade, that is the whole point of being an entrepreneur. you are making too many unrelated assumptions to try to disprove this authors critique of past and present attitudes.
