[QUOTE="munu9"]I somewhat agree with the girl but she seems to imply nice smart guys are actually the ones that are just after sex. Hope that ***** gets knocked by a "bad boy" who ditches her. =\ binpink
How can a guy claim to be both nice and smart while saying he hopes a girl gets knocked up just because she doesn't like him?Remind me to avoid those allegedly nice guys.
Uh, I'm not sure if you're talking about me, I was just talking in the reference frame of the comic. I don't claim to smart or nice and obviously the knocked up thing was a joke because I'm referring to a fictional character...This!.........sucks but at the same time you know those girls will get what they got coming to them.Wow. How is it possible to feel so brought down yet so motivated at the same time?

That's epic! The one I made is probably not OT appropriate, so instead I will give you a link to my picture.
WARNING: Yeah, it's distasteful, but it's the first thing I thought after reading all of that.

this basically says that intelligent men who play videogames, are insecure losers? thats the most ridiculous thing i have ever heardAndrovinusYeah, the viewpoint the girl espouses in the comic is extremely lacking in the logic department. I don't see how one cannot be secure in their intelligence and pursuit of things other than the obnoxious, knee-jerk jerk things out there.

Pseudo intellectual much?
i saw two similar comics in that sad thred and for the most part i agree. You can long for the girl and throw out the sappy compliments but if you don't show her you want to be more then friends you will be stuck. Also a lot of those so called nice guys get in the way of us so called douchebags.

It is pathetic to see a guy swoon over a girl, but she becomes a slutty b*** to him when she turns him down some people have no ****
I feel like I should now text back the girl I'm seeing, which I have been putting off all day because of video games.
But on the other hand my Charmeleon is about to evolve, so there's that.
Granted, some of this is true, but it shouldn't matter, because peoplpe can (and have/will) turn their lives around in seconds. It doesn't take much for the average "shy guy" to end up with a girlfriend anyways.
Did anyone else notice the irony in her yelling at him for being shy when not 2 panels ago he asks her out?MousetachesI'm more confused why she called him a selfish prick especially since she made an entire monologue explaining how she prefers selfish pricks. And the whole thing is basically just saying "be a douche-nozzle, that's what girls want". Maybe I'm just weird, but I love people by loving them. I cannot love via being a douche-nozzle. It's like having sexual intercourse by cutting off the person's genitals. It's the exact opposite of what you should be doing. Imo, people who only care about "excitement" in relationships are just immature, and clearly don't care about having a legitimate relationship.
the sad thign is Ive been doingthis wit ha girl for months now and I honestly kinda have hoped things would work out altho Im older then 14.... then again maybe its sad that i just learned a life lesson from a comic on a forum.
it's not like i haven't tried to get a GF, it's like every woman or girl i've gone for has a boyfriend already...or has kids.
my luck sucks when it comes to this

Not to mention the part about how the "jerks" at least go out and get what what they want, and learn from their experiences.
The ironic part is that the girl only launched into that hateful diatribe after the guy expressed his feelings for her (as in, being active as opposed to passive). She didn't say a ****ing thing until she realized that he had affections for her.
Here's the thing...the two people seem like mutual friends. People who just get along and are friendly, and have concern for each other. The girl in the comic was willing to soak up the guy's concern, without ever expressing any ****ing concern whatsoever about him being more active or aggressive about pursuing women. She didn't say a ****ing thing about how he needs to change, until he DID man up and express his romantic feelings for her.
All I can say is that she isn't a good friend, and that she just plain doesn't like nerds. She is what people tend to call "a self-centered *****". Everything is all about her. And the whole time the guy was expressing concern for her, she never gave a **** about him. She just liked to lap up his concern like a dog eats scraps off a floor, and she tried to ridicule the man the second that things became awkward for her. That whole monologue about how the guy is a selfish and worthless pansy? Well, it's a friends JOB to say that sort of **** to their friends, and this woman didn't say a ****ing thing until it was convenient for her.

Oh, I absolutely noticed.
She just plain isn't attracted to nerds.
And rather than have the balls to be open and honest about why she isn't interested in him romantically, she tries to make this **** out as if it is HIS problem.

Dear MrGeezer, I love you. Sincerely, Mousetaches P.S. No homoI kind of Lol'd. I think whoever wrote that thinks people are a bit more deep then they really are. Guys don't usually get denied because they aren't exciting enough. Chances are that if hes asking her out she probably doesn't know him that well. They'll get denied because they dont look good enough. Fact is that 10s go out with 10s and 5s go out with 5s. Not super exciting men go out with 10s, or at least thats how it works most of the time.
