i'm not afraid of death. i was dead for approx. 15 billion years before i was born.. and it wasn't so bad. i can go back to that when i die :wink:

"It's just like that." Is that your supported opinion? Born with a new soul? You speak of these things as ifthey are facts.

Look, I agree with you about rebirth, as I myself believe in reincarnation. But there is no way to know what's to happen after death. Isn't that in itself reason to be a bit unsure and scared? I don't know for sure that I have lived and died many times before.

I actually agree with your theory, yes. But is does not give me comfort in the least when confronted with my own mortality. How can anyone not be a bit frightened by letting go of everything you've even known and been?

Actually, death is not a part of life, it is the end of life. The Extermination of life. The roadblock, the end up of the Tunnel. The question is, after we die, do we keep moving past the road block, is there another side of the tunnel?

And i think that's what the big deal is about it...

If we knew for sure there was nothing after death, i gaurentee you there would be plenty of wars, suicides, and genocides under the tune of nihilism. Not that that wouldn't be interesting in it's own right, but it would be a crappy universe to live in nonetheless.

i'm not buying it. if humankind knew for sure that this life was all we got.. and there's no promise of heaven or 72 virgins or whatever paradise one wants to believe in i think people would be far less willing to start killing each other..

Actually its not really your theory.......the japanese have had that theory for a looong time now but that doesnt mean i believe in it because it sounds really stupid. I dont get the part when i died in the past...

Some just don't like think whats next... I used to think that It doesnt matter but this is just one life... And if Life after death exists i wont remember this life and well iI wont feel that next life... maybe i Am in another life now but i dont know... get it?
