Either way, what if I get reborn into some country in Africa? What if I have to start my new life without Internet, fast food, video games, TV, and movies, but instead with genocide, AIDS and other disease, dirty water, dirty clothes, starvation, flies and maggets, and all that is terrible?

Considering there is so few places in the world that's fully developed, I will be even more scared if I do come back again, because I will have much higher chance end up at terrible places.

That could be a good thing sometimes. The key here is you have to be reborn into a nice place, say a filthy rich family living in a mansion, with trees, pools, servants, and a nice sports car at your 16th birthday, and a sexy girlfriend obviously after your cash... then go to Ivy League school for free because your dad built a library for them, and get a job at a firm and get promoted to the CEO before your dad retires... now if all that comes ture, who give a **** what your previous life was like.

Or, if you are the type who likes challenge and a sense of achievement on your own, you could try to start a multi-billion dollar company by making some straw hats in a hut somewhere in Uganda, while your mother is trying to sell your sister as a slave to the local rebel army officers for 5 cents so you will have something to eat tonight.

that's the no. #1 source of religious bodies imo. Generation after generation of families that pass down their beliefs to their offspring/relatives. That's where I was dragged in with my power rangers coloring book that took me sunday after sunday to fully and acurately color in the mega-zord on one page to match the colored one on the front page. This 'theory' (mohan, just accept that this is not yours, and that most ideas you come up with are not original....I don't say this to insult you, but I mean, look, just don't think you're original, because we're at a time whe a lot's passed and most stuff's been done already....and this almost as old as dirt, so....) makes much more sense in the context of Buddhism. All sentience is very similar and so similar that it really just slips from one form to the other.

mmhmm, it's not as simple as dying in one body and coming back in another for the difference of lifestyel. Reincarnation delved deep into all aspects of life. Running the praries as a jaguar and dying and coming back as the maggots that rotted it's corpse. It ran the whole thing full circle for that realization of nirvana.
