Anyways, yes the double standard is there for men and women but for this comic, the first situation implies that the baby has already been born where as the second situation implies that the baby has not yet been born. Are people stuck on birth control? Really? They could have used male and female condoms, the pill, the sponge, etc. etc. and still could have gotten pregnant (highly highly unlikely, but the point still stands). It definitely is her body, and by no means am I wanting to have control over it, but you do have to realize that like I said, once a child is conceived, a man has no choice, before or after the child's birth.

I feel like men should have the right to sign a legally binding "opt out" when they are first informed of the fact that they are or may be the father of someone elses child which takes away all rights and responsibilities of being that childs father. (but only when they first find out, not later) I know there are a lot of complexities that go along with that, but someone more knowlegable than I am could probably figure it out.
