Obama's inexperience will ruin this country.
McCain's inexperience will ruin this country, as well.Just because he's old doesn't mean he's experienced, just more likely to die in office.
Obama's inexperience will ruin this country._Dispair_It's not just his inexperience. We've had great leaders who had little experience and terrible leaders with considerable experience. The problem with Obama is that he's a demagogue. He appeals more to emotional voters, than rational ones. In reality, he's vague, often votes "present" in the Senate to avoid taking sides on an issue, and yet still manages to have the most liberal voting record in the entire Senate for the year of 2007. Many 'casuals' and youthful voters will find his charisma, optimism, and eloquence inspiring, enough so to vote for him. But unfortunately, the direction he wants to take the nation is even further left than his voting record. He's also blissfully ignorant regarding Iraq. But, that's par for the course in the Democrat party, excluding Sen. Lieberman. He'll make a challenging opponent for McCain, if he wins the Democrat nomination, but not because he's better suited to lead the nation or assume the position of commander in chief of the armed forces.

Eh, are you saying Obama has more experience than McCain? No candidate is perfect, it's just that McCain is the best choice (imo).
Hopefully there is a hired dietitian for McCain to prolong his lifespan if he makes it in.
I'm not saying McCain is anymore experienced than Obama (or the other way around), I'm just saying he's equally as inexperienced. I disagree with a lot of his policies, and the age thing was just a joke.Eh, are you saying Obama has more experience than McCain? My opinion does matter. It doesn't matter if I can vote or not.
I do have a voice.

Obama is all talk and no substance.
Like I have said in other theads, he lacks the much needed experience to take on a job such as President of the United States. To me, it just seems like he was in the right place at the right time (2004 Democratic National Convention), and was named the new face of the democratic party to spread the word that he is going to bring the much needed change to America. And guess what, everybody is eatin it up like candy, especially the younger voters.
Seriously, all you ever hear from him is how he is going to bring change to the US and end the war in Iraq, but then never elaborates on how he is going to do either. So please Obama supporters, tell me his plans for how he is going to end the war in Iraq because I never seem to hear that part when he speaks. I bet you you can't. And his proof of his experiences in foreign policy was downright laughable. I mean if he thinks living in a foreign country when he was ten and younger gives him a better understanding of the foreign policy challenges facing the US, then God help us.
Right now I think we need a President that has experience and that is willing and able to take on the challenges that America faces now and in the future. peaceful_anger

No, I am saying that no matter who wins on the democratic side, a democrat is gonna win.
BTW, Barack just pulled ahead in deligates again.
Considering McCain is a moderate, we're aware. So to get to the point, why are you, a 16 year old who cannot vote drawn to Obama? Is it because of his charismatic, Hallmark speeches? The young, flashy guy who promotes 'Change'? What?

A lot of Obama supporters ARE ignorant. Didn't you know? It's actually trendy to like Obama, so many people have started supporting him without actually considering his policies.
And I didn't compare him to Hitler silly. I was merely using an example of how theatrical speeches can galvanise a large group of people who are desperate for change and/or ignorant of the actual situation.

Ahhh! I HATE it when people shove words into my mouth (bold). Either that or you're comprehension skills need work
Not all Obama supporters are ignorant, a lot actually pay attention to his policies (I acknoledge he has policies by the way) and agree with them, and that's fine. What angers me is when people just jump on the Obama "train" because it's trendy. They (young people in particular), see one of his charismatic speeches about "change" and ulimately decide he's the best president, without actually going further into his policies. THAT is ignorant, you can't argue about that.
So, I'm not actually targeting Obama himself, but his supporters that merely become sheep, following without knowing him or his policies at all.

Yes, I guess you're right. But the fact that a presidential candidate can become "trendy" upsets me, can't people form their own opinions? Why do they have to follow the political views of celebrities? Although, Obama isn't the only one to do that (the various endorsments, Chuck Norris, Oprah etc.).
So please Obama supporters, tell me his plans for how he is going to end the war in Iraq because I never seem to hear that part when he speaks. I bet you you can't.peaceful_anger
Phased redeployment of combat troops out of the region, diplomacy both with Iraq (public and private) and multi-lateral talks with the rest of the region. There is no good solution and I think mostly everyone has acknowledged that at this point, but there is such a thing as an acceptable solution and I think he has one.
Hes definitely worked to make the specifics of his policy a lot more, well..specific. I can't exactly recite his policy word for word off the top of my head but if you want to read more you know where you can get it.
you cant even vote, why are you doing this? wait till next election till you start threads like this if you are only 16...
btw i dont support a president that wants a vietnam 2.0, and wants us to pull out ASAP, also a "free" healthcare system would not work, talk about a socialist idea (plus even more taxes, YAY), and you think higher taxes = better, wait till you have to pay them... you will say different.
