God I hate Hilary, I hope Obama wins so much. Otherwise the only options are Clinton and McCain, and I prefer Canada.

I like this one

he wants to regain out trust in our government. xD

Because most candidates don't want you to trust them, of course.

I'd just as well have the few people and my friends I talk to on MSN and IRL about polotics and then I'll take my view from there.

Oh boy this is the just the start of "Vote for *place candidate's name*" threads.Proobie44

reminds me of when the geology teacher at my old school told everyone in her Homeroom to vote AGAINST me. Seriously I was deeply hurt and offended. :|

I voted for Obama in primary in the hopes he would defeat Hillary in NY (fat chance) but in the actual election I would vote for McCain. Obama would not make a good president, being photogenic isn't enough, just ask anyone with an unbiased view of JFK (one of the worst presidents of the 20th century).

Is that totally proven and legit? I've seen it brought up in documentaries, but more as a possibility and theory than a fact. Also, why is it that someone who is a small percent Jewish/Black/whatever is that minority, but when a minority is a small percent white, it's like the white doesn't exist? Like you have to be pure white for it to count... doesn't make sense, pretty racist too.

You can't expect gamespot ot to understand something unless you take them by the hand and lead them along very slowly. The comparison wasn't to suggest that Obama will become Hitler He's hardly racist, power hungry nationalist. However, it was Hitler's persuasive character and his passion that compelled a nation of normal men and women to commit horrific acts. Demagoguery doesn't have to be used to conceal views which are considered grossly immoral. It could be used simply to conceal a lack of substance and views which don't represent the best interests of the American people.

If one would consider a bit of research, it would become pretty obvious that Obama doesn't lack substance or views. His healthcare plan is the most feasible of any of the candidates, and he has the most progressive take on changing domestic policy. How is he not representing the best interests of the American people?

That's his game face. Everyone knows that a president needs a good game face.

Obama doesn't have a game face.

You know why?

It is because this is not a game. This country really needs us.

"We are the ones we've been waiting for." - Barack Obama

Yes we can.

If a democrat is going to win, I hope it's Obama because he'll be out of there in one term. He has no experience whatsoever and doesn't even seem to have a plan besides "change". Yeah, that's a pretty vague term Obama. Now let's not just rely on our speaking abilities and likability and rely on actual methods to make changes.

I'm supporting Hilary because:

1)She has the best chance to beat McCain despite what the media tells you.

2)Her Health Care plan is better imo.

3)Experience. It may not be as important as "change"(whatever that means) to a lot of people but knowing how to deal with other countries will be more vital than ever in the next 4 years.

And yes, I know it's shocking a young, white male on an internet forum who likes Hilary and isn't afraid to say it:o

Yeah, just politics as usual. On the liberal side, Mike Gravel wanted to do the same. If there's one thing Dems. & Republicans can agree on it's the uselessness of the IRS.

Because an income tax is necessary, even if you wanted to cut every bit of discretionary spending and downside the military to a fifth of its current size it would be necessary. Any of the proposed alternatives that I've seen would if anything cost you more in reality.

The IRS has repeatedly used thug-like behavior due to the slightest discrepancies but I still think that they or something similar in its stated function needs to exist.

[QUOTE="MeriMorganov"]Why no Ron Paul? D:Rikusaki

cuz he sucks

No offence, but I think your sig is funny. And yes, Ron Paul isn't even relevant, never was.

how is it funny? obama is cute

I just think the whole imagery that it evokes makes me chuckle. I mean, the way he's portrayed there he looks like he's made out to be some kind of Jesus figure, or Messiah, here to save us. Don't you see it?

lol does my avatar match my sig?

Little bit, theres' some resemblance. :P

IDK where you guys got this dillusion but the only think Hillary was even involved with video games was going after the ESRB to do its job.. As well as fining stores who do not follow the ESRB and sell M rated games and above to minors..
