Being 100% mod-proof consists of these ingredients:
4% reading the ToU
30% being boring
16% being respectful
20% rehashing bland topics that never get locked
30% good old-fashioned luck
At least that's the way I see it.

I've done it all. I have washed duxup's car too many times! I'm not touching your Ferrari anymore!
And I've donated too much money to that 'we love moderators' fund. I could be spending that money on things that really matter, like video games and a big HDTV.
So, trust me, it's not worth it. I've done too many things I'm not proud of.

No...you just have to know whom's arse to kiss....Omni-Slash:? Did your lvls get dropped or something? With a post count like that, I'd expect you to be at least lvl 45 or higher....
On topic: I don't mind the moderation. It's the consequences of being modded that I don't like. I got moderated earlier for making a short post that had mostly capital letters. I got modded for it and they freakin dropped me an entire lvl. It took nearly forever to reach lvl 40. Now I'm back to mid lvl 39, which is pissing me off....
Don't have strong opinions, don't engage in discussion, be absolutely serious. You just have to avoid being controversial in the slightest. Doing so will make you boring enough to become bulletproof.

Yea, because anyone who doesn't have many moderations is instantly boring. >_>Don't have strong opinions, don't engage in discussion, be absolutely serious. You just have to avoid being controversial in the slightest. Doing so will make you boring enough to become bulletproof.

Of course not. You just have to able to anticipate how broad the Terms of Service are. Then again, damn-near anything can be fit into the "offensive posting" mold.

Finding someone here with no moderations will be like finding a small gem in a large haystack, nevermind needle.
I have no moderations :o. And I pepper my posts with seemingly endless amounts of emotes as well! :PFinding someone here with no moderations will be like finding a small gem in a large haystack, nevermind needle.

Mods don't count :x
Really though, what are the chances of a mod getting moderated? That's so unlikely I'm not even going to try to provide a similie or metaphorbecause I know it's going to be terrible :P.
I have 10 moderations. 6 being warnings, 3 being point losses, and 1 being a 1-day suspension, which considering my level and post count and my time spent here, isn't bad at all.

One Mod got banned, don't remember the name, but there was a thread made on it, and it later somehow turned into an extremely disguisting porn suicide. One of the weirdest threads I've been in.

I am asking for everyone's opinion on this, what do you think it takes to not get modded? Do you think you need to have an IQ of over 150? Do you think you need to have a good connection with the admins of gamespot? Or do you just think that you need excellent reading comprehension skills to understand the ToU in every single interpretation? Do you think we need to somehow raise the lowest age of gamespot users which could allow more acceptable material?
What is your opinion?
Well, if you have ADD/ADHD, you are going to get modded. Over and over again for reasons that sometimes don't make sense. There's no way around that. It usually depends on if you get reported or not, and sometimes the people reporting you seem extremely petty. I got moded for quoting a message with multiple images. Everybody does that, and for the life of me I can't figure out what's wrong with that especially when the images were absolutly neccessary to make my point. Maybe they just need to publish a "Gamespot for Dummies" book to guide people through the forums.Oh and you must suck up to the mods by laughing at their jokes. :P[QUOTE="MrLions"][QUOTE="topsemag55"]
Epic answer, +1 to duxup.

HAHAHA!!! Brilliant! Witty! Have my babies!
Funny? Brilliant? Witty? Mods, moderate this post.i dont come to OT anymore.i got moderated so many times for weird thingsGazaAliReally? I only have problems in System Wars (unless I really deserve it). I'm guessing that's because I only own a Wii and others don't like it when I burst the negative hyperbowl.

Thats so funny - I got moderated replying to a thread from you.
Looks like someone got trolled even thou I was replying directly to you. Funny thing my original post was deleted but it was quoted and that has stayed.

It seems that someone just goes along looking for posts to report -Reporting user(s) received good mark- I suppose I will get modded for this.
protip: Don't post anything that can be considered questionable when there's new mods. They tend to be very trigger happy.
Also ignore tattletales, if at all possible. Honestly I think some mods moderate because they keep recieving complants more than it's against the TOU.
