Man you're right tomorrow is the 11th of September. It won't affect me in anyway. Was it a terrible tragedy? Yeah but it was 9 years ago now and unless they somehow find Bin Laden tomorrow it's just going to be another day.
I'm not too concerned about it. I probably won't join in very many patriotic songs or programs since I'm not socially active in the first place, but all the power to those that do want to be patriotic.
Two years ago my pet escaped, fortunately it came back after 2 days. About the WTC attack, it was suckish, my mom was in Chicago during those days and she was supposed to return home that week but all the airlines were closed so she had to wait more time.
You know what? I think that it was absolutely horrible. It's unfortunate that those that attacked us felt the need to kill civilians. It's unfortunate that people are blindly led on faith alone, and not logic or emotion. It is quite unfortunate.
I'll probably reflect on it, think about it, etc then move on with the day. Damn shame that politics are slowing down the rebuilding of the World Trade Center.
You know something, they've won. The terrorist have won. They've instilled so much damn fear in us, we can't even board our own airplanes without taking off our shoes or carrying our OWN bottled waters. No one will agree with me, but the best thing for this country to do is just to move on and go back to normal. I for one am tired or remembering. You don't have to remember to keep yourself from forgetting. :roll:
I don't want to come off as a jerk, but i think it's one of those things which perhaps we need to try and move forward and put in the past, rather than recalling it every year as though it were some morbid national holiday.

A new season starts on a Saturday? Is that just for the U.S or Canada as well? I think US...I watch the episodes on Sidereel. I just checked wikipedia and season 4 starts on the 23rd. Does that site get shows later or something?
I think we need to relentlessly pursue al-Qaeda and destroy them to ensure security for us and our allies. al-Qaeda has only one motivation-- to kill us all. We can't stop that motivation by talking to them or negotiating with them.
One of the things I liked about President Bush was that he stood up for us against our enemies, and he didn't care about what other countries thought of us. His first priority in that respect was to protect us.

You must be willing to decide ifsomeone is your enemy then be able toexterminate them. It's difficult to find people that can do this professionally and not go on some kind of wild killing spree because they are as **** up as the people we are after. In other words know your enemy before you kill your enemy. Don't just kill whoever could be your enemy.

Tomorrow is September 11, 2010. One year from tomorrow, it will be 10 years since America was attacked by terrorists. What is your viewpoint of everything related to 9/11? I think that the people who concieved the attack are sick, miserable ****s.

Did it affect you when it happened? To think someone attacked your country because the fact that you are American. Or the fact that it could of very well been you or one of your loved ones? Mourning days of substantial useless loss is a pretty standard thing. Then again, other countries huge losses effect me less. But, to say it isn't a big deal is odd to me. No offense intended, your opinion is all you, I wont super judge you. Just curious really.

Trust was given before. And now it is earned. But still distrust is rampant with the trust. And, honestly it was just another reason to 'profile' people. While I agree certain people have more tendencies to do certain things(sociology class reference...), but its hard to hold everyone equal when people perform acts in the name of certain religions, race, age, etc. Pity really. Heres to hoping for a more tolerant world, and to me starting my own country! Oh it will happen people.

Lol. Americans hurt America many times more than the terrorist ever did by blowing up 2 skyscrapers and killing 3000 people. I mean, the xenophobia, the several trillion dollar wars, the election of Bush, the loss of personal freedom (the Patriot Act,) disregard of human rights (Guantanamo/witch hunt of terrorists,) the lower in budgeting for education/wealthcare/healthcare/infrastructure, garnering even more hate from the rest of the world, neglection of the economy and many more things were far more hurtful to America than 2 skyscrapers and 3000 people. Americans made something which negatively affected 3000 people and 30 000+ of their relations and cost 200bn into something that negatively affected the other 300 000 000 americans and cost several trillions of dollars. And then you are proud of that...
