Top 5 anime you've seen?

5. Soul Eater- Had a pretty memorable cast of characters. Okay story

4. Death Note- Got me started on anime and thought the story was great until the second half of the series.

3. Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood- Great anime overall

2. Baccano! - Short and sweet (16 episodes I think?) and has a little bit of everything (susense, thriller, action, fantasy, old-school gangsters :D )

1. Darker Than Black - Has an epic main character that reminds me of Batman, and a story that is similar to X-men (where there are "special" people)

I reccomend these anime to anybody!

Toradora:Favorite highschool anime, replaced Host Club, wish it got a dub release:cry:

Hellsing OVAs: follows manga to a T, and with huge budget:D

Romeo x Juliet: fleshes out the age old story, rewriting characters for the better & having the time to flesh them out

Ano Hana: the end made me cry sobbing tears of joy. No tv series or movie ever pulled my heart strings this much

I have seen a few movies, I think Miyazaki's stuff, which is pretty good. But as far as anime series go Ghost in the Shell is the most tame one. I don't like the over the top gore or stylistic jumping around/action and desu desu giant eyes nonsense that most other anime has, or the dramatic standing around talking and looking shocked and being dramatically silent.

As I recommended to Firebird, you should give Monster a try. It's very interesting and 'tame' (no over-the-top gore, jumping around, giant eyes, etc.), and probably the best anime I've seen.
