[QUOTE="Thyeora"]I think it's really great, the measures that organizations down there go to in order to allow these people to continue being uninterrupted in there ways of life. So many tribal cultures have been destroyed and the few that still exist should definitely be maintained. Oleg_Huzwog
Uninterrupted? So in the event of a drought, no food should be delivered to them? How about medicine? They live in the jungle, the most disease-riddled environment on earth. What about conflict resolution? The article mentioned other tribes are migrating across the border from Peru. What happens if these tribes go to war with eath other? Do we sit back and maintain a Star Trekish Prime Directive?
We do nothing. What right is it of ours to interfere with the way these people have been living their entire exsistence, just because we discovered them doesnt change a thing. You complained that they were compared to animals, well in a sense they are, they are a primitive human species, do we save a gazel being chased by a lion? No, let nature take its toll.
