No, it's NOT.

This isn't like the European Union. All those countries have around teh same economy.

The NAU would combine the SUPERPOWER of the world, with a country that lives in the superpower's shadow, and i freaking third world country. I dont want a freaking 3rd world country to bring down my country's economy.

And why would we need to??? Trade is already tax free between the US, Canada, and Mexico. So making trading easier is a bunch of BULL****.

I think that's what that NAFTA Super Highway is suppose to provide

Imagine all the jobs we'd lose, due to the companies hiring the cheap laborers.

A unified law system would prevent that from happening.. what would actually happen is that most companies would outsource even more of their jobs to different countries.

I seriously hope not. My kids would then be hardstruck to find a job due to all the immigrants

No, if they were to enact the same laws as the US, Mexico would lose jobs, and companies would outsource even more jobs overseas. If they didn't change their laws, I don't see how the US would lose more jobs, unless something made it even easier to take advantage of cheap Mexican labor. I don't see that happening, though. Everything would remain somewhat the same for the US, perhaps a few fluctuations here and there but nothing major.

That would be kind of interesting if America joined the EU in the weirdest circumstances. I mean, we are a European-originated country.

I seriously hope nothing major. I mean, I would LOVE for my people to get out of that 3rd world situation, but at the same time, I don't want them taking away oppurtunites from my kids before they even get a chance because, well, they were here first

You're right tho, I don't think it would change much.......yet

Personally, I think if there was a common currency and left other affairs of law to each his/her own country, that'd be cool.

Until then:

I have a dream! A dream that one day a $1 USD will be equal to $1 CDN(sp?) and the same with Mexico. Where people of the NofA are able to purchase comics, games, and Avalon Shore Cinnamonbuns, and XXX beer without any currency problems.

That's somewhat what I mean in what I say in my opener in this thread

The formation of the European Union (EU) is the 'blueprint' being used to construct the North American Union (NAU). In an act of tyranny, our government is illegally creating the NAU by using secret meetings and deceptive double-speak to hide their pernicious, TREASONOUS, INCREMENTAL STEALTH. They are making MASSIVE changes to our bureaucratic-administratic-regulatory laws by calling them 'HARMONIZATIONS.' What they are doing is re-writing our legal regulatory law to the benefit OF, BY, and FOR the corporate elite plutocracy. The only difference between the creation of the EU and the NAU is that it took 55 years for the European free trade agreement to morph into the EU. Unless we can stop them, they will accomplish the NAU here in a BREATHTAKING 15 years. The One World Monopolists have already declared before our Congress, that our borders are to be eliminated by 2010. Are you ready for that?
