This has happened about two times this week; I walked in on my roommate and his GF. However, as selfish as this sounds, I didn't leave and actually began playing Crysis and didn't stop until about 2:00 AM.BluRayHiDef

If your roommate hasn't asked you to do anything then you have every right to stay because it's your room too. It's obviously not that important for him since he doesn't plan ahead of time.

well, iv had a similar situation, my room mate walked in on me. the lights were off and i was actually in bed with his girl LOL, so he didnt notice and said sorry and left. me and her finished and she left never to have spoken about it again. I have to live with what i have done, since im my room mates best man at his wedding next month, with the same girl ! :(brown_flame

I don't think the TC has a GF, which is part of the problem, but mainly it's their completely lack of communication. And I don't know about a hell, but you will eventually die, which will have to do.

Hey, let's say that when you return to your room and open the door, the lights are off. Then, after you turn on your display and the room becomes illuminated, you notice that your roommate and his GF are under the sheets on top of one another. What would be the appropriate thing to do? Should you leave, even if you have nowhere else to go? What if neither of them say anything and simply roll off of one another and lie down as if they weren't doing anything? This has happened about two times this week; I walked in on my roommate and his GF. However, as selfish as this sounds, I didn't leave and actually began playing Crysis and didn't stop until about 2:00 AM. I figured if he hasn't said anything, then I don't have to make any accommodations for him or his GF. What would you have done? I'm thinking of telling him that if he wants some privacy for him and his GF, he could tell me in advance. However, more than likely I'll never do that.

I would have done the same thing, and there should be no guilt in what you had done.

I would of said "you have 10 minutes" and then walked out and had a little stroll about. You don't just sit there and play Crysis. :lol:

TC should have chkd who was in bed with the roomy, only if he actually has a gf, other than that the lack of communication could cause a onslaught of problems. (and i doubt death will suffice for my short commings.)

On my campus, there are loads of places I could go, and people I could chill with for a while. So yeah, I'd probably leave. But I'm like a really considerate manipulative person.

exchange copies of your course schedules. unless you're both in the exact same program, there should be plenty of times throughout the week where he and his lady can do their thing when you'll be out... and they'll know when you'll be back,

in the evening, you both have a right to be in that room. if he's only with her once a week or less, go down to the common area or something... if it's more often, talk it out.

what you really need is a Cone of Silence.

Probably leave. Grab a beer and a smoke, and come back when I'm done :P

Well, I would want that person to leave, so I'd probably do that the first few times...after 2 or 3 times of walking in on them, I'd get tired of it and tell them to find some other place, or I'll do what you did...just stay in the room.

I'd light some candles, pour some wine, and play my Luther Vandross/MArvin Gaye setlist and leave.
