I honestly dont know. I'd problably tell them to get over whatever problems they have and that their life is not that bad.

I'd also give them a kitten or puppy. Its really hard to feel that bad when you have something cute and fluffy sitting on your lap for you to pet.

ya usually when people contemplate suicide it is because they are thinking too hard about their own problems.

Then they start thinking about the grand scheme of things (a philosophical thing), i.e. how do I fit in to the world, do I really matter, what is the point of my life, etc.

If anything, a person contemplating suicide needs something to take their mind off of things. Honestly I would think sitting down and playing some video games would be a good cure. They'd get distracted, have some fun, and realize that there are enough simple pleasures in life to cancel out the one or two large bumps in the road one might encounter.

Suicide is the most selfish thing someone can do. Whatever problems their are CAN be fixed and things are not always bad.

Give life a chance. Volunteer at a hospital or something.

Yeah...I'm not too sure about it....althoughI have been told I'll apparently be brought back to life just so that person can kill me for doing it :P.
