Neko Case is pretty good, her self-titled stuff is more alt country (very rockish, tho), but she is also in The New Pornographers (sort of indie pop-rock)

Rilo Kiley is also pretty good.

I also like Regina Spektor

Not all of the above is rock, but female singers in bands I like.

Yeah... there are a lot.... but I also say the band 'Garbage' because of the singer Shirley Manson. She's a good singer and gives off a really cool vibe.

i was out on break with my friend from work and we was chillin in the car and he went like you ever heard kittie and i said no... SO he turns up the voulme before he plays the music which is cool i like my some my stuff loud and BAM!!!
