Like you enjoy singing songs but don't have a good voice for singing?

I sing anyways, in private though :D
I hate not being able to sing, but theres not really anything you can do about it if you dont have the right voice you know.
Thing that sucks for me is that I have avery deep voice and somepeople think I should try singing because, "You never know"but truth is I cant at all lol.
It's funny if a person sings and their voice is horrible. I went bowling a few nights ago, and in the bar section was karaoke night. This lady was singing "I'm Just a Girl" by No Doubt, and it was probably the funniest thing I've heard all summer. Whether she was drunk or not, still hilarious...
It kind of makes me sad because I'm not like "I can't sing and don't care"..I actually do care about singing the songs I like.

I don't want to be "hilarious". If I wanted to be that then I'd do a stand up comedy act. I want to sing because I like the songs.

Singing lessons is your only answer, or just practice on your own. This has already been stated many times. There is no magic way to make your voice better. It just takes practice and development of your own sound.I want to sing..not a whole lot but I want to sing songs. I'm mostly a guitar and bass-player but I do want to perform some vocals.
You could try singing screamo :PRobboElRobbo
No. Definitely not. I can't stand that type of "music". I can't even do those kind of vocals, either.

Was sarcasm, hence ":P"Well can I just sing anyway?
If you're into the song and sing with the right feeling then there's nothing wrong. Everyone has a unique voice anyway.
Well... why are you asking if you know the answer dude?Well can I just sing anyway?

Take lessons. I honestly have no idea if I can sing (I'm pretty damn good at it in Rock Band :P) but I do it anyway. In the privacy of my own room, of course. :P
No I just want to sing naturally.
DragonRebel0908
No as in "no lessons?" If that's the case, than you really have no option but to just wing it and hope you can sing in tune.
You don't have to take lessons. Most of your favorite singers never took lessons. I'm in a band and write my own music and songs, my voice isn't great, but the level I have improved is immense, I am actually ok with hearing my voice now. I'm not trying to say I'm great, but you know how when you hear your voice it makes you want to pull your hair out? Well, I can sound now like I think I sound in my head, which is ok. You know what my great big secret is?
A car.
Drive and sing to your favorite music. I did that and after a couple months/years, you'll get better. I mean belt that sh*t out, don't hold back, who will judge you? No one. And so you can find your real strengths and weaknesses without people thinking you an idiot. It worked for me, or rather, it works for me.
Lessons don't "change your voice," they teach you how to work with what you have to produce the best result.I don't want anybody to try to change my voice. It's not even possible.

If my voice goes through my nose then it can't be helped anyway. I can't sing from my gut or whatever or even my throat. It goes through my nose.
