If you ban guns people would just kill with knives Bucked20I'd rather someone come at me with a knife than a gun. Knife - it's a fight. Gun - they stand back and move their finger.

I almost always dislike tattoos and this is no exception.
I hate it because it gave my boyfriend unrealistic expectations of a girlfriend whom you are sexually active with.
MrsSolidSnake
I think that that's one of the only problems with it, It just creates this whole facade of human sexuality that might confuse people who aren't sexually active, sort of like a reality distortion. I mean i don't watch it that much but it would be lying if i said that i didn't watch at all and didn't enjoy.
One other problem i have with it is that i have just recently turned to Christianity but its something that i enjoy and quite frankly im torn between it and my new found faith. It honestly doesn't bother me with it existing though because as long as there is people there will be sexual thought and as long as there is sexual thought there will be porn. What people do with their bodies is of no concern to me, but I guess that's just the liberal that's in me...
Also the gush is from a satirical tv show, I'm pretty sure its not real :P

A nation wide ban with more active enforcement would produce results... Europe says high.

as long as it is the good stuff, i.e. straight-up hardcore, no-plot bullcrap, its all good. I hate that fake stuff with the girls with the fake boobs trying to act.
If I wanted to watch a crappy movie with lots of sex, I'd watch Crash

dunno, just saw some 'merica bashing and had to toss on my flag cape and fix this injustice.your body is yours, if you trash it then it's your fault and we really are fortunate most people don't think like you...government already scans the internet...we don't need it going any farther and just because the 1st amendment isn't set in stone doesn't mean we have to change it...it does everything we need it to do and the point wasn't pornography being an inalienable right but if you read that it isn't "illegal"...and it shouldn't be banned because we will always find ways to get it and freedom of press and expression allows us to do so anyways. There is also no harm in pornography being allowed to the massesjosephl64
Your apathetic attitude on alcohol and other harmful drugs disturbs me... Just because you were eduactated about the dangers they inflict does not mean everyone else has been.
Gov. needs to step in... The 1st ammendment has been breeched for laws favoring safety before as well. Just because you like a wild-west internet does not mean everyone else does.

There is a difference between apathy and minding your own business. The government decided that alcohol was a problem, last century. The Prohibition failed. Do you like youtube? It would be even worse. Internet censorship is completely unnecessary and in implementation would as a practical matter accomplish positively nothing.

The Patriot Act was about 'safety' and "protection" as well as SOPA. Some people are ok with taking away freedoms one after the other in the name of "safety" and 'protection.' One more step towards censorship. Really believing that the government is always doing things 100% of the time for your safety, protection, and rights in mind are just fooling themselves and naive. You call it Wild West, but whoever got shot over some poker game on the internet? If you don't want to watch something or don't want to look at something, don't go search it out. Same with tv. Don't censor it and force us to watch innocent programming and websites just because you disagree with it. Everybody deserves the CHOICE to watch what they want, as long as it's not a murder or child molestation or some other atrocity, but porn has its place and no one should be banned or limited from watching it if they so choose.

If you forfeit liberty for security you deserve neither. The fact of the matter is massive censorship is sponsored by countries like North Korea, Iran, Saudi Arabia, etc. I'm not sure the US should be in that category. And on top of that censorship of that kind is already unconstitutional by a conservative courts standards.[QUOTE="DroidPhysX"] If you forfeit liberty for security you deserve neither.BranKetraThomas Jefferson.

Sadly, yes. Chris Morris is a relatively famous English satirical actor and writer, responsible for Four Lions, Brass Eye, The Day Today etc. Of course it isn't real.Oh? I didn't read that from a history book. Internet 1 Bran: 0.[QUOTE="BranKetra"][QUOTE="coolbeans90"]

I've learned my lesson. I'll take another quote from the history books. I mean the internet. This time I know for sure who said it. "There's an old saying in Tennessee - I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee - that says, fool me once, shame on - shame on you. Fool me - you can't get fooled again."Chris Morris is a relatively famous English satirical actor and writer, responsible for Four Lions, Brass Eye, The Day Today etc. Of course it isn't real.dommeusYou've got to love Chris Morris. The Brass Eye Paedophilia special is still one of the funniest things I have ever watched.

Brass Eye was unbeleivable - peadogeddon was astonishling good. Still holds up today. I read his biography the other day (worth a read) - worth delving into his early radio show on GLR - some of it's classic Morris.
It has saved many marriages. And lives. mrmusicman247
It also has destroyed many marriages and lives. For example, a family that I've known for years has completely fallen apart in recent months because of it.
Porn is a double-edged sword no matter how you slice it.

Still better than a gun. I can run away from a chainsaw. I can't run away from a bullet. Plus it would be too heavy to move quickly and they have to use both hands so once they miss the first time I can attack them myself.
In all honesty I'd probably run though...

Yeah, a chainsaw isn't the most practical weapon. You'll notice their absence in tatical loadouts.
