it is like sleeping, but there are no dreams or nightmares. there is only darkness and cold and no feelings at all. that feeling is the worst nightmare possible

Nothing happens, your dead. It's like a dreamless sleep. At least I'm assuming so. Anyone that has a definitive answer to what occurs after death is lying, they haven't died. Obviously people know what happens to a body once it is dead, it decomposes, it's lifeless, etc. It's really hard to fathom all the possibilities about what happens after death. After all, who's to say that reality as we know it isn't a dream of our own in another dimension. In simpler terms, think about the dreams that you have at night, walking about as if it's real, like that IS your life. Then you wake up and find out that everything that had just happened was a lie, it didn't actually occur.
I have a few theories 8). When you die you ride on a giant turtle that drives on rainbows up to the moon where you can watch over all your loved ones from the 'bove.
theres many thoughts on what happens when we die your reincarnated to a new life you stay in a endless dream state you go to heaven/hell theres simply nothingness
