What is better rap or heavy metal? average

Hmm let's see..

In good metal bands, you have 4-6 members who each play at least one instrument or can sing, write good lyrics, and often, you have multi talented artists who can play instruments AND work with audio engineering equipment.

In good rap, you have an artist who might have a talent for singing, rapping, or song writing, and may have some audio mixing/mastering talents. Often, they don't know how to play much instruments other than some basic keyboard skills.

I think I'll take the former :roll:

Heavy metal is just rock that's faster and has heavier sounding guitar riffs.

Iron Maiden is heavy metal and Metallica is thrash. Iron Maiden and even Metallica(despite recent sell outs) is a hell of a lot better than Pig Destroyer.

Death Metal, Black Metal, Core variations of Death, Black, and Thrash metal, and other hardcore, brutal, or extreme genres of metal are full of "mindless screaming". Symphonic, Heavy, and Power metal are full of talented vocalists.
