It was fairly low. I had some friends that I hung out with at school but none of them were very serious as my family moved a lot so I tended to be a state of constant flux. By the time I was out of high school I realized how much this had damaged me socially and so I promised myself that if I had kids I would do whatever I could to keep from moving the family too much. But then I never had kids so oh well.
Its been a long time. But I was part of the group of kids your parents told you not to hang out with. But we were not really bad kids,we just skipped a lot of school. And the only reason we were all freinds is we did not fit into any of the other cliques. So I ended up getting exposed to so much more in the terms of culture and music and entertainment and life experience than I would have If I was in one of the other groups that were based around having things in common or being popular.
That being said,some of us were popular,but did not hang out with the popular kids. One of the kids had a local access show and i was the co host,and we couldnt go anywhere in town without someone following us around.
In the middle. I played basketball most of the time with friends. The popular kids spent most of their time doing really stupid crap like drinking, pot, and the like.
In high school, I wasn't very sociable, but I was relatively popular due to the fact that I was always willing and able to help people. I didn't have a lot of friends, but I was generally well-liked.
Now that I'm in college, though, I'm just a hermit.
I was one of the very popular kids but I was friends with almost everyone (hence me being one of the very popular ones -- and of course there were some people who I didn't like).

I was friends with everyone in my grade but I never really hung out with the really popular people (too preppy :P ) until I went to Cuba for spring break. That changed my routine for a while:P So I was pretty much in the middle.
Probably middle or slightly under middle, I was quiet but talked in small groups of people I knew well and liked and although I was considered weird I wasn't really teased or anything like that.
Elementary, Middle, popular Lol, anyone should be able to become popular at those stages, i was a bit of a show off :/ ahhhh........great memories
Highschool ?, same thing popular, except, unlike middle & elementary i learned the difference between "Real" friends, and friends who are just there for the moment
I don't really care about my social status, mainly because I don't see the point. I was only at my current school for barely a year, and I'm going to be gone to college by the end of my school year. So what's the point of having a social status if you're not going to last? In my old high school, I did have a pretty high social status, I just never bothered hanging out because I prefer to avoid all the drama.

I get along well with a lot of people. Mostly, I hang out with the serious nerds, and the otaku, which is probably the largest clique in my school, and are all pretty popular (Really, no joke.)

There arn't really a social status in college but I guess you could say I'm somewhat popular. I'm friends with a majority of the students on campus and even if people don't know me they have heard of me.

Well belive it or not im a very known kid in school. everyone in my year group knows me and talks to me. Years above and lower also know me, dont talk as much As some people like to call me and my friends the "Cool skater kids" I dont know whats up with that :s but yea im preety happy, allways got someone to talk to!

I was one of the cool guys but it took ma a while to get there. I was a loner untill 8th or 9th grades but then somehow I because one of the most popular guys.
