BTW, I should have said that my girlfriend WAS ugly and creepy, since she's not my girlfriend any more. And that makes it okay. You can say that your ex-girlfriend is ugly and/or creepy, because you are not dating her any more.

Yuck bees are so bothersome. About a month ago, a wasp got in here.. and I was playing Guitar Hero at the time. That thing floated right across in front of me like it was in slow motion. I screeched, jumped off the sofa.. and dropped the guitar :lol: Needless to say I failed the song as I took my shoe and beat the crap out of it when it finally landed on the floor >__>

Oh, and I wanted to comment about wasps being aggressive.. well one time I had one fly into my car window and landed in my lap. I didn't know what it was at first so I started shooing it away and it started to freakin sting my hand a bunch of times! I was like whatever!! It hurt alot too :(

That's the least menacing wasp ever.

Unlike other wasps, this wasp CAN NOT STING.

Most wasps have stingers. This wasp has a stinger too. The only thing is, its stinger has been modified in order to be a giant ovipositor, enabling the wasp to drill into wood, where it lays its eggs.

What this means is that evolution has stripped its "stinger" of the ability to sting you. This renders the wasp COMPLETELY harmless to humans.

Anyone know what a Huntsman spider is?

Remember that giant-spider-behind-a-clock picture that used to be posted here? Well, that was a huntsman spider.

Anyway, once at my mom's house, she saw a big huntsman spider on the ceiling and asked me to get it. So I tried to catch it (humane captures only, I won't kill harmless animals just because people are afraid of them). But those spiders are fast, so it ended up getting away.

Anyway, my mom started yelling at me for not catching it, because she's really afraid of spiders. And I'm thinking, "jesus christ, mom, I was doing YOU a favour. I didn't have to try to catch the spider at all."

So in order to put her in her place, I said, "hey, look on the bright side. At least I didn't damage the spider's egg sack."

She then asks me how many eggs these spiders carry in their egg sacks, and i said, "I'm not sure, but I'll bet it's at least 400 or so."

I expected her to start yelling at me again, at which point I could say "haha, mom, there was no egg sack! I just made that up to mess with you! That's what you get for freaking out over one tiny little spider!"

But she didn't yell at me at all. She didn't say anything. She just fell to her knees and started weeping. And that made me feel kind of bad. Even though she was TOTALLY overreacting, I had made my mom cry, and that made me feel bad. So I tried telling her that there was no egg sack, and that I just said that there was one as a joke. But she didn't believe me, she just kept right on crying.

Google Funnel Web spiders, it's one of the few spiders I've heard of that is known to actually chase you.

Well I took it with my cell phone.. and it looked clear when I took it ok. But it was small.. and no way was I gonna get that close to it! Lucas zoomed in on it to make it bigger so everyone could at least see it a little better. And I already apologized for it being poor quality so you don't have to rub it in :(
