What would you do if your gf/bf/fiancee/spouse told you they were a transexual?

Provided they told you before you found out. And let's say your relationship was incredibly strong before this event... What would you do? If that happened to me... I guess I would be shocked and offended as my first reaction... but then I'd probably want to know everything about it and see if the relationship could be salvaged. To be honest, I really do'nt know what I would do... :?

I'd leave the country and change my identity.

Clearly I would be so surprised that I'd have to stab them to death without even talking to them or thinking about the consequences and then dispose of the body into the nearest dumpster. Much like that guy in Russia did. :P

Be incredibly sceptical... because I could swear she was a woman.

I'd like to think that I would stay in the relationship, but I honestly can't say... I don't know how I would react or how I would feel when being around that person from then on.

Mentally I would not be able to handle it.

After hearing that the next thing I would remember is: "Will the defendant please rise?"

Assuming I had not found irrefutable proof that this was impossible beforehand, I'd probably be like, "Seriously? You gotta be kidding? What do you mean I'm out of bud light with lime? I swear I bought a 12 pack last week because I still have the reciept on the damn kitchen table. Now what were you saying about being transexual? That's interesting. Now could you help me check the basement for that beer? I'm getting ready for a 12-hour video game marathon and I need that beer iced down stat!"

This is something I am still coming to grips with, though; I am 19 but I am still learning new things about myself. I have a crush on a man for the first time in my life. (most trans-women are technically men)

I would know everything about my partner before proposing. And if I found out a girlfriend were a guy in the past, even if I loved them, it would be over real fast =/ It just wouldnt be the same, you know.

I really and honestly can't say. Well, of course I could. In fact I will: I'd still love her just the same and wouldn't be bothered by the fact at all. But what I say and what I do are two entirely different things...

This is impossible for me because it would require leaving my house to find a significant other to have them tell me they were a transexual.

dump them. Anyway I could tell. A man's index finger is shorter than his ring finger and its the opposite for women, and its something they dont change in surgery.
