Not always true, one big differance is that "some" cheap jeans are just that... CHEAP. I bought my son a pair of cheap jeans and within a few days found that the metal zipper wasn't even really metal at all but a plastic which broke. Took them back and got slightly more expensive jeans, they lasted less than two weeks before the material really started to wear. Not saying all cheap jeans are this cheap but I found out that some are the hard way.
$10 jeans are that price for a reason. Cause they are cheaply made. Prices go up depending on the quality of the denim, buttons, zipper and stitching. But don't get me wrong not all expensive jeans are worth their price either. Alot of the time the prices are inflated just cause of the brand and logo and the "hip" factor.
I buy what I like, I don't care if it costs 10$ or 50$, but if it's cheaper than it's better for my wallet.
You consider a 30-50 dollar pair of jeans to be expensive? AutoPilotOnThis lol That's the price range I usually buy from, I would be suspicious of $10 jeans.
Yea I get American Eagle jeans for about 15 usually on sale and then I get coupons make it even cheaper.Nothing beacuse you can get those $30-$40 jeans for $10 sometime:o

i love how some folks make it look like they're so smart for buying cheap stuff.there usually is a huge difference between them if you care about the quality.
$10 jeans are going to be sh*t. you can get a decent pair of Mossimo jeans at target for about $25
needled24-7
Not necessarily. It really depends on the jeans themselves.
Some are very decent quality, while others are more questionable.
And even if they don't last very long, you could buy three to five $10 pairs of jeans for the cost of one $30 to $50 pair.
From a cost/benefit standpoint, I would say it's a better deal.
Buying cheap stuff isn't always a good deal. Getting good stuff at a good price is even if its slightly more than regular price for the cheap stuff.i love how some folks make it look like they're so smart for buying cheap stuff.there usually is a huge difference between them if you care about the quality.

TC is buying his $10 jeans from wal mart. they are not going to have any good pairs for $10, unless $10 is the clearance price and that's after being like 70% off.faded glory or wrangler.[QUOTE="Pirate700"]
What pair of jeans costs $10?

Levi's, from my experience, last quite a bit longer than either of those.
"You know the message you're sending out to the world with these sweatpants? You're telling the world, 'I give up. I can't compete in normal society. I'm miserable, so I might as well be comfortable."Switch to sweats, I usually get them for like $6 a pair at wallmart.

Same, can't go wrong with Levi. There's a reason that's what almost everyone wears. Levi's have gotten thinner though over the past decade or so.Thats what I was thinking. I went into the True Religion store at the mall and walked out not feeling bad about spending 50 or so on jeans. In a world where jeans are costing $200-300, I don't think $50 should be what you're considering an expensive jean, TC.

+1 for the Levis recommendation. Just go to a JC Penney or some other store that has them and spend the $35 on a pair or two that will last you many years. Plus they have dozens of styles, so you can probably find some that you like.Engrish_MajorExactly. There's a reason Levi's, by a mile, are the best selling jean in the world. They're the best jeans and at a decent price.
faded glory or wrangler. Both of which are complete garbage. Spend a little more and get Levi's.Levi's isn't a little more it quite a bit more.[QUOTE="slipknot0129"]

I have never seen jeans go for $10 let alone $30. The designs of cheaper jeans are usually not as fashionable as the more expensive designer brands.

Only if you go to their outlet stores.
Like they said, go to a department store that has them.

I pay like 15-50 for my Jeans. I love bealls/bealls outlet.
*Hides because that store is really targeted towards women, but has a small selection for men*
**Denim is denim at the end of the day, same sh*t different name.

I bought like four pais of Express jeans when they were on sale during the holidays. Spent around 150 bucks and they're probably the best jeans I've ever owned.

I wish Levis would become cheaper I no longer own any Jeans from this company:(.[QUOTE="EasyStreet"][QUOTE="Pirate700"]Both of which are complete garbage. Spend a little more and get Levi's.

I'm not talking about those bullsh*t ghetto fabulous brand names made in Iraq.

And for a pair of pants that you'll probably wear a couple of times/week for a couple of years, that is not a huge expenditure imo.
Dude, you can get Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, DKNY, and Levis all for 5 dollars at Salvation Army. They just might have your size too.

You're comparing the exact same pair of jeans at two different prices though. That's not what we're discussing. Please Log In to post.
