whats with teenagers these days?

i majority of teens these have parties every week, which isnt the problem. the problem is all these kids are doing at these parties is getting drunk, high and having sex. even as a teen myself i find this pretty disgusting. i was talking with some friends and 2 of them were talking about parties they went to and told stories about them getting **** from girls while the other guy taped it:? and how theyll be having sex and stuff while other people are in the room:?. it really sickens me to see teens act. thoughts?Blitz_Nemesis

You seem to assume that getting drunk is guaranteed to cause vomiting and hangovers. Vomiting is from either drinking on an empty stomach, or drinking way too much. Hangovers are just dehydration. I've never had a hangover, and yet I've drank pretty heavily.

And drinking every week isn't alcoholism. Drinking every day, out of necessity to function, is alcoholism. That's what a real addiction is.

And you don't always forget what happens. Another "myth" really. It can happen, but like vomiting, only with large quantities of alcohol.

There is a limit to everything, it's just that the younger generation seems to love going over that limit. My best friend...if one can call him a friend anymore, couldn't get through a day completely sober. First thing he does when he wakes up is get high and then go to classes. After classes, he get's drunk, more high, and then goes to sleep. I don't know how he finds the time to study, but he's ALWAYS high. I'm with a a few days out of a month...but everyday is just plain stupid. That's over the limit. Not thinking straight.

This is just an example, teenagers seem to think that the forbidden makes them cool, so they pretend. After a while, pretending isn't so fake anymore. Then the rest is history, as they say.

For all those that are saying id rather do 'blah blah' then get drunk, i used to think that, but then i went to an absolute crazy party and had the best night of my life, believe me you can have so much more of a laugh with drink involved.

Because its fun and cool. I'm a teen too. Also its up to the parents to raise there kids right and who the kid hangs out with makes a big impact as well.
