Whats your opinion on Gamespot Off - Topic Forum ?

It's great

It's a procrastination aid, and fits that bill fairly well. It's alright - quite an eclectic bunch of people here all in, mostly pleasent although genearlly pretty young. All in all - not bad.

lol i can see why u think that. i think its a chill forum but a lot of ppl r too uptight. i dunno it seems like sometimes ppl just come here to pms.

My opinion (not that it counts for anything) is that most unwanted activities can be curbed by having more active mods. -this is something Russ and I have disagreed about in the past; he favors user reporting as a means to curb unwanted behaviors I look at it like this: If people see a cop on every corner (mods posting a lot), then they are less likely to commit a crime. The other approach of reporting (calling the cops) does nothing to fix what already occurred and creates resentment against 'the man'rawsavon

For what it's worth there are a ton of moderators that post on a regular basis, as far as things that are illegal even if moderators are around people still post things like drug use, having a moderator there rarely curbs things outside of ovbious thing that a user knows will get them suspended or banned.

Meh, reporters, anime, attention seekers.. fed up of it.

What bothers me is that some of the times i come here there's someone asking how he should tell her how he feels

People get called troll alot in OT as well if opinions do not match. fact of the matter is many people on Gamespot seem to be overly-sensitive.

I don't know why I still come here. Maybe it's the familiarity, like Cheers or something.

we had a discussion in AtM. I said that there should be more mods and more ACTIVE mods. A great many are not here in OT. You put the 'burden' (i use that term very loosely) on users to report ...there is no right or wrong...it is just a difference in philosophy is all (both with obvious bias) In a nutshell you said that more reporting would 'fix' things, and I said that more cops would mean less need to even report. It was a thread where I wanted to recommend a few modsrawsavon
