Credible if you're smart enough to only use the information cited by other sources (and you should probably check the sources, just in case).
i love it, no one tends to change the pages on indepth subjects, there's no funny to be had by changing the chemical formular for cellulose or anything like that, if anything looks suspicious i google itmarkop2003but the first reuslt from the Google Search is wikipedia.org! teh conspiracy!
My professors encourage us to use it for cursory information and to wet our feet, but if we use it in any academic publications they will kill us.Vandalvideo
i've lways thought it's good place to wet your feet too cause all the information is collated there for you with citations, it also gives you key technical terms which you can then use in a google or libary search
My professors don't accept it, and neither would I.
It's good for non-official stuff, though.

they will accept the sources though. That's why I will start with Wikipedia and got to the source that is cited. WIN

WHERE'S CHAPTER 2??????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well usually, if something is flatout wrong. It should get removed, the only problem is those reading the article between it being added and removed. Which shouldn't be too long.
Wikipedia is great for interesting info on many things. I can simply look up something I like on Wikipedia and then I start thinking of more and more things to look up. Before I know it, hours have passed.
