When did you first realize you are a NERD/GEEK?

I realized it the moment I made friends in way back in middle school. I had moved from New Jersey to Ohio and didn't know a soul. I announced to the class during home room, "WHO HERE PLAYS ANIMAL CROSSING?"

Lo and behold, I had common ground with people. Made a friend that day who has been there for me consistently over the past decade. Just because of video games.

When I rooted my Droid, then made my own theme for it. Still can't make ROMs, but I'm learning.

I've pretty much have always known I'm a nerd. Buying a binary watch cemented it for everyone else, though.

When I realized I have more fun sitting at home playing video games/watching documentaries/posting on GS than I do going out to bars, clubs, or any social event really. I used to force myself to do that kind of stuff but it's just not for me.

I was told the fact rather than coming to understand that myself.

I used to deny it, but I fully accept the nerd in me now.

i dont really think gaming or being into computers or anime is really nerdy i actually know alot of cool people who are into that stuff. I think nerdy is like when u maybe cut yourself off from anything outside of what ever it is your into, and just focus on nothing but that. anime, pc, forums etc. Kinda like a outcast not very sociable with others especially if your not into what they like to do kinda of odd personality.

Nerdiness has nothing to do with cool. This guys is obviously in a stage of self-denial.

I don't think i realized it I just kinda always knew (playing video games constantly)...if that makes sense :P

Well, let's see here. I know for a fact my strongest subjest is health sciences AKA Biological studies. So i'd say whe I got 114% on every reproductory/human system test in elementary.

I'm not really that much of a nerd. Supposedly I was "in denial" about being on the geeky side up until this past summer or so. I don't really pay attention to things like that.
