Which do you prefer? Mac or Pc?

I'm a Mac, I just couldn't take all the virus scans and error missing dll files with PC, I guess I can see it if your a PC gamer.ultimameteora

Definitely my PC. I've had less problems with it and find it a lot more manageable than the Macs where I work.

I've heard Macs are better for graphic designers (no idea if that's true) other than that, there is hardly anything worthwhile about them, at least that I see.

They get hardly any support for programs/games, no way to uprgrade parts (unless you buy the $2000+ versions), and you pay way too high a premium on them.

PC's aren't hard to use, and viruses aren't a problem as long as you know which sites NOT to go to.

Personally the only thing I like about Macs is that they have a nice asthetic to them.

PS: This is based off the small time I have using them.

why dont we go with what 99.99999% of people understand as the connotation instead of being "that guy that has to be clever" and be right on a technicality? And since when did the Apple ads refer to their Mac products as "PCs"?

As for the question, I prefer PC because, well, I like to play games and I dont have the money to buy overpriced, underperforming equipment.

I like windows better because of games. Don't really care about the actual operating system though.

PC because I get a pretty case, it cost half as much, does twice the work in half the time :D

I bought my first Mac several weeks ago and I'm really liking it. I think I like it better than Windows. The entire thing just looks and feels more professional.

I lean more towards Macs. Considering that I'm using one right now. :P

PC

Desktop: I'll use windows

Laptop: OSX

I prefer windows for most things but I CANNOT stand trackpads on windows laptops. Apple has really done alot of things right with how integrated the trackpad is with OSX. Anytime I switch from my mac to someone else's windows laptop I find myself trying to do exposes or two finger scroll and it pisses me off when I can't.

I prefer Windohs

I like them equally. I built my own pc for gaming but my macbook pro is great to use anywhere.

I agree about the trackpads. I have yet to see a Windows laptop with as good a pad as a Macbook. However, I'd rather bring along my wireless mouse than use a trackpad at all.

I just right clicked on my macbook though....

PC, easily. It'll take more than a shiny interface and pretty hardware to separate me from my money, software flexibility and ability to play games.
