I just right clicked on my macbook though....
Yeah, it's possible, but for some reason it isn't enabled by default. In fact, I hear that you can just use a trackpad gesture to right click. In my experience of both, I'd rather have the hardware of a nice laptop like a Vaio... but with OS X.SolidSnake35Odd. I would say that Sony is only second to Apple when it comes to charging for yoru brand. :P
My sister has an HP laptop that certainly can. I assume HP isn't the only laptop manufacturer that isn't Apple that has such touchpads.Desktop: I'll use windows
Laptop: OSX
I prefer windows for most things but I CANNOT stand trackpads on windows laptops. Apple has really done alot of things right with how integrated the trackpad is with OSX. Anytime I switch from my mac to someone else's windows laptop I find myself trying to do exposes or two finger scroll and it pisses me off when I can't.Inger1
Here is how I see it:
Mac users: Aren't really too concerned with how their computer works or what exactly is inside it. More cores, more gHz, more ram, more $$ = better. As long as the computer doesn't crash or get a virus the user is happy and can tweet/use FB all day long. (I know everyone isn't this way - I'm generalizing based on people I know)
PC users: Like to understand their machine. Many of us actually love to build them and research new parts and technologies. If our PC ever has an issue... we fix it ourselves. Viruses, hackers and crashing systems don't scare us because we know how to prevent them. If a BSOD does happen... we know how to make it go away. We also love games.
Not trying to hurt anyone's feelings. Just a general opinion.

And macbooks have a glass trackpad(aka they click)

Only Macbook Pros, Airs don't click. ;)Had a PC the first year and a half of college and it gave me nothing but problems, went Mac and I'm never going back. Had it over a year and a half now and it runs as fast and smooth as the day I took it out of the box, with no errors or crashes at all save for one Safari freeze up that was quickly patched. Makes my lab reports and presentations soooo much faster and easier to make with a noticeably better looking finished product.
not a mac in sight...

Hah! Good one! A year ago I would say PC but finally bought a Mac. I loved the PC because you could do so much with it and understand the ins and outs of it. I've build systems from scratch and so on in the past . A Mac is more for people who don't care about the inner working of computers and just wants something solid that works seamlessly. So I have a Mac for myself and my writing while the rest of the units in my house are PCs. So no I have no answer, both are good and it depends on the users personal preference. If you want something you have more control over then its a PC (Windows).

I am pretty sure you lab reports are unaffected by which platform you use ;). Regardless of you being a mac user I still like you. Why? I'm a raider as well. Wreck em'
Gaming: PC > MAC
Reliability: MAC > PC
Simplicity: PC = MAC
These are biased to my personal experiences so don't take my words for it... I operate on both systems ever since my school removed PCs which is not helping the budgets at all... And I personally prefer PCs since I've operated them for as long as 10 years.... But in spite of all that the OSX is pretty good in terms of security because Windows is inevitably soaked within the bulk of the virus pool. It gets really annoying at first using the Mac (eg: having to press control before right clicking).. but once you get used to it, you'll realize it's actually a pretty good OS.
When Steve Jobs retires, Apple will be sunk. They're a company built entirely around one man's genius. But once he's gone, that will leave with him.
So PC, because it will last longer.
I've only used a Mac in the Apple Store. It was okay but not worth the price in my opinion, so I'll go with PC/Windows.
This should be a poll.
Anyway, i personally feel that:
Linux for PC experts
Windows for gaming or average people
Macs for people who want to look cool/be different/can't use PCs.
I personally use windows because I play games and from my experience i don't have time for linux.
