Asking out of curiosity, I'm interested in diplomacy.
EDIT: Please put a brief explanation on why you think it's a certain country :).

You can't be very interested in diplomacy if you weren't aware that the UK is the country that we have the closest ties with period. Even if you knew nothing of politics the fact that the UK is the only English speaking country in Europe should have been a hint that we probably have more in common with them than, say, France or Germany.gameguy6700
I was aware, I decided to refrain from sharing my opinion because I wanted to hear everyone else's and didn't want mine to make an influence, even if the answer is obvious.
I thought Canada. The two countries are more closely tied than anything else.F1_2004Canada isn't European. ;) So it's definitely England.

Obviously the United Kingdom, only English speaking country, and they've helped each other out in many conflicts
I'd say England was going to say United Kingdom, but dont they hate Scotland now for letting the Lockerbie bomber go.

lol we (england) hate Scotland too politically. Nice people though. both wales, scotland, and northern island leech of england. specifically london, since it really is the powerhouse of the british economy.
and yeah i can see Britain not being America's tee boy in the future now anymore.

The UK. Im from scotland and we dont hate England we just joke about it :P And we dont leech off you guys :evil:The UK, and how different is british culture from american culture by the way?
Former_Slacker
They drive on the left side of the road, They like more dry intelligent humor while us americans like slap stick i.e groin shots and people falling down... UK has much MUCH cleaner public bathrooms and facilities etc. They are pretty much uniformally liberal while america is just all over the place with the middle of the country and the coasts bickering all the time. And Britian seems to have higher standards of what makes it onto the radio in terms of music while we play any pop crap that we can find.
America is also much more acceptable of violence in TV, games, the media etc. but are horrified about nudity, And they are more open about nudity but seem to be horrified about violence. Or atleast thats what it seems like to me. And thats pretty much it lol, Honestly UK could pass off as just another US state because our culture varies a ton depending on where you live because its such a big country
The UK. Although, despite what some people may say currently, the US and France have also had an unique and close relationship.
I always thought that America had good ties with Wisconsin. I'll go with Wisconsin.Nerd_Man
What? I wasn't aware Wisconsin was a sovereign state. Hooray for our Wisconsinite independence now I guess.
Not only that, but youre European :o LOL. Actually, if they were talking about Minnesota, they probably are European. They have an enormous Scandanavian population. So much so that they always celebrate their holidays there.[QUOTE="Gallion-Beast"] And here I thought we spoke English here in Ireland as well.grape_of_wrathYou were wrong....Not sure if serious...
