Asking out of curiosity, I'm interested in diplomacy.

EDIT: Please put a brief explanation on why you think it's a certain country :).

You can't be very interested in diplomacy if you weren't aware that the UK is the country that we have the closest ties with period. Even if you knew nothing of politics the fact that the UK is the only English speaking country in Europe should have been a hint that we probably have more in common with them than, say, France or Germany.

I was aware, I decided to refrain from sharing my opinion because I wanted to hear everyone else's and didn't want mine to make an influence, even if the answer is obvious.

lol we (england) hate Scotland too politically. Nice people though. both wales, scotland, and northern island leech of england. specifically london, since it really is the powerhouse of the british economy.

and yeah i can see Britain not being America's tee boy in the future now anymore.

The UK, and how different is british culture from american culture by the way?

Former_Slacker

They drive on the left side of the road, They like more dry intelligent humor while us americans like slap stick i.e groin shots and people falling down... UK has much MUCH cleaner public bathrooms and facilities etc. They are pretty much uniformally liberal while america is just all over the place with the middle of the country and the coasts bickering all the time. And Britian seems to have higher standards of what makes it onto the radio in terms of music while we play any pop crap that we can find.

America is also much more acceptable of violence in TV, games, the media etc. but are horrified about nudity, And they are more open about nudity but seem to be horrified about violence. Or atleast thats what it seems like to me. And thats pretty much it lol, Honestly UK could pass off as just another US state because our culture varies a ton depending on where you live because its such a big country

LOL. Actually, if they were talking about Minnesota, they probably are European. They have an enormous Scandanavian population. So much so that they always celebrate their holidays there.
