[QUOTE="TREAL_Since"]While I understand the point you are trying to make, I think your method would be wrong. We shouldn't restrict anyone from anything or force any vasectomies.
What we should do (everyone in the world, not just Americans), is teach our youth about having sex, about abstinence, and about wearing condoms. We need to vastly expand sexual education program our schools. But first and foremost parents should teach their kids these things while they are still young.
We have to start now or else each generation will get worse and worse wiht this specific situation. For instance, look at the difference in teen pregnancies from the 1950s to now. It's staggering (of course you know this though :))

Or not.
Who is going to pay for that? Do you think that poorer, religious nations like many African and Middle Eastern nations are going to accept the message of this program being taught to their children? I think not.
When life gets hard, really hard, civil liberties become suspended. Thats a sad fact of reality, and I do not see any feasible way of circumventing that.
This planet can only take so many people. And no country has a right to put a strain on the economies and livelihoods of other nations because of their explosive population growth. When the time comes, those countries who have the intelligence to avoid rampant famine will take harsh legislative action and avert the problem.
Do you think that educating the entire world's teen population would avert disaster? Are you kidding me? You want to put the survival of billions in the hands of TEENAGERS?
Kids do not listen. And when the time comes, when the crisis is looming large, do you really think that anyone will actually give a damn whether or not the kids know whats happening? No, they will tell them to shut the **** up, stop breeding or they will end up screwed over for the rest of their life.
Wow. Chill out. Obviously the entire world would not be able to pay for education programs. Kids don't listen? Do you have kids? Are you a parent? I'm not even a parent and I understand the power of a parent and how an overall message can be detremental to a childs upbringing and the way they carry themselves. I'm a prime example of the good that comes from that.
We are not in a crysis to force anyone to not have kids, force abortions, make women have vasectomies, and tie their tubes. All of that is outlandish right now. America is not in a crysis where our civil right and liberties must be stripped from us. I think it's obvious to everyone and their mother that in the far future population will get out of control. Now is not the time to force ANYTHING on the citizens of America. I was just posting ways we can start to prolong a population crysis for where America is TODAY .
What was the meaning of your post? Everything that I posted was logical and reasonable and makes sense for the situation the young adults in America face this day.
Also, I never said any country should dictate another country's livelihood and economy. Did you even read my post :(?
