That's not true, singing is a very important part of the presentation, without Whitney, I will always love you, will never be the same song the world remembers, just go on any idol, or talent reality show anywhere on earth, that song, some 20 years later, is still probably the most popular choice, what instrument can make that specific song this influential?

Actually it isn't. Michael Jackson's Thriller is the best selling album of all time. Whitney's bodyguard comes in 4th place.

We still have our fair share of great singers out there. Whether they are on Whitney's level is arguable, but there is still plenty of talent out there.

Anyways, I am not a fan of Whitney's s t y l e of music but I'll be damned if I didn't respect her amazing amount of talent. It is sad she ended up wasting her life the way she did. She ruined everything with drugs including her ability to sing.

I can't help but feel like she is another fine example of why one should not do drugs...

Heard she was a hardcore drug addict. Not really surprising this happened.

She sang possibly one of the best rendition of the National athem, during Super Bowl XXVwhen the Giants beat the Bills. She's the only person singer to turn the anthem into a hit single to reach the Billboard hot 100.
