[QUOTE="SAURON221"]Israel was known back then as Filistine.Umm your talking about Jesus right? Cause I have never heard Jesus being descendants of Philistines seeing as the Philistines were hated by the Jews

Yes, Its your justification they focus on, not the subject/person you are writing aboutLet me give you a little hint on how grading works...
Pick something interesting that no one else would think of and your paper will stand out among the others. How many of your classmates will be doing it on Jesus? 30-40%? Perhaps more. Pick something that is strange and as long as you have your reasons to back up your statement then you will get graded well.
This is how you learn to BS your war through essays, and if you are good at it then it doesn't matter if what you wrote is completely wrong! I wrote a essay on classical mythology and completely did the opposite of what we had to pick out from the quotes. I wrote it well enough though and support my opinions that I still got an A on the paper while other people who actually wrote it on the right thing were getting C's.

I hbave to do a report of that topic.
I was thinking Jesus, even from hisotrical standpoint. He started the world largest religon with 2.1 billion followers. Christianity has formed countries, destoried countries, started wars and ended wars. The Pope was and arguabliby still is the most powerful man on the planet with some infulence over 1.1 billion people, and more if including world leaders.

I would say
Constantine. because the only reason people follow jesus today, is because of him pretty muchSick Nick Mondo.
He is the first one to be slammed off 23 feet into concrete, lighttubes and tables.
He is the first one to ask to be hit by a weedwhacker.
Definatly the toughest professional wrestling there is. HE DID IT ALL IN REAL FORM. He didn't ask them to hold back on the lighttube shots, he told them to hit him as hard as they could. No wonder why he retired in 5 years.
Sick Nick Mondo.

[QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"][QUOTE="quiglythegreat"][QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"]If you wanna get literal and from a historical standpoint, that census probably never happened at all, but more importantly Jesus's death was clearly the Romans killing him. This is irrefutible to me. He died on the cross. Which was kind of like a Roman punishment. The Jews and the masses would've beaten and stoned him to death, but instead he was executed, possibly because of his lineage (both his parents being descended from David I think) which if true would mean he was the rightful ruler of Filistine by right of blood rather than divinity.Execution and birth....two totally different things.;) FYI....it wasn't important in what city he was born....or exactly who executed him. Only that he was born and died.

You do understand that it was the Jewish leaders, however, that wanted to be rid of him. If they weren't under the Roman Empire they would have found another way.
What makes you think that Pilate was about to bow down to a bunch of Jewish leaders for no reason? The Bible is wrong one way or another. Pilate most certainly had something to gain and the masses probably were not screaming for Christ's bloody.
Pilate had no say, He found Jesus innocent and wanted to let him go, buit the popular vote was to kill him

Everyone is going to write about Jesus, what about Bill Gates? Or Albert Einstein, Alexander the Great, Aristotle, Pitagoras, so many important people with a whole lot more factual proof of having existed than some myth called Jesus, use your noodle.85070537783
