I'll say the same thing I always do: I do like anime..but as with any form of entertainment: some of it's good, and some of it's downright horrible.
I think anime is retarded, although there is one i absolutely love....

There's plenty of good series out there. There just aren't many good ones that make their way in to the mainstream North American audiance (because never-ending shounen series sell better, and are much easier for NA publishers to milk.) Cowboy Bebop is one of the few awesome series that has seen any significant amount of attention in North America. There's plenty more great series out there (some have been published here, but haven't gotten much attention), but the main problem is that most people seem to think that everything else out there is like Naruto or DBZ :| (the types of people who make these threads, for example) and they just aren't willing to explore any further than what's force-fed to them by the big-name publishers (who are mainly targetting children, by the way.)
