ww2. its more interesting than math or any other subject imo. pygmahia5

I dissagree, whal I like ww2, it is nothing compared to the history of the Roman Empire and the American Revolution.

No. The magnitude of human resources that were implemented and the changes it caused to the world around us were so great the it will likely never be met again in our human history.

6 years of WW2 > 400 years of Roman History

How about 2206 years of Roman history?8) Rome's history can be said to span from the founding of Rome in 753 B.C.E. to the fall of Constantinople in 1453 C.E. The Romans were a part of world history for a very, very long time, and they had a very, very big effect on the world. They gave us so many things we still use today, from our calendar to cement, from Christianity to the languages spoken in Europe, from the defined borders of the nation of France to the cultural seperation line between the East and West. But for the Romans, the American Republic would have been very, very different (swathes of the American Constitution and layout honoring the Roman Republic). Their influence resonated around the world in their day even as far as China. Books by men like Julius Caesar are still required reading in military academies and business schools. Rome dominated her world in ways similar to the way America dominates the modern world, but for the fact that the Romans could be said to have done it far more efficiently, and maintained that domination for far longer.

I am interested in not just the fighting of world war 2 but before that, about how Hitler came into power.
