[QUOTE="ninjacat11"] Seriously, who the hell even approves of Bush's job as a president anymore? The right hates him for the Guest Worker program, the ACLU hates him for signing the Patriot Act into commission and torturing prisoners in Guantanamo Bay, the left hates him for pretty much screwing up our country, the family of those deployed in Iraq hates Bush for not bringing our troops home....
buxboy
You are so stupid, my god. The patriot act was a good thing, until people that do not have the the welfare of this country in mind. It is pathetic. Basically, what you are saying is that everyone who has a view differing from bush hates him, well we could say the same damn thing about Hillary or Obama. Think about this. Oh and btw, the US economy is better than it was when clinton left, the unemployment rates are down and we have never tortued prisoners in any of our prisons. If you want to know about torture, why don't you look up Daniel Pearl or Nick Berg.I think you are the stupid one, the patriot act was not a good thing at all. It was the same thing as Hitlers "Enabling Act" Read what i posted20 min ago.
Enabling act:
It was officially called the "Law for Removing the Distress of the People and the Reich." If passed, it would in effect vote democracy out of existence in Germany and establish the legal dictatorship of Adolf Hitler Brown-shirted Nazi storm troopers swarmed over the fancy old building in a show of force and as a visible threat. They stood outside, in the hallways and even lined the aisles inside, glaring ominously at anyone who might oppose Hitler's will.
Before the vote, Hitler made a speech in which he pledged to use restraint. "The government will make use of these powers only insofar as they are essential for carrying out vitally necessary measures. The number of cases in which an internal necessity exists for having recourse to such a law is in itself a limited one," Hitler told the Reichstag.
The vote was taken: 441 for, and only 84, the Social Democrats, against.
What did this lead to.....a little thing we like to call "The Holocaust"
