God, the match between Roddick and Federer was epic. The third set went to 16-14 (I think) in the tie-breaker. It was one of the best tennis matches I've ever seen. Not many people can push Federer like that, but when someone does, it's amazing to watch.

Yeah it was. I never can sit through a whole tennis match unless it's a woman's match. They're a lot shorter.

I wanted Federer to win all the way. Tennis doesn't interest me that much though, can get me bored too easily so I just watched the last few sets.

Woo Federer, The Greatest Tennis Player of All Time. 15 Grand Slams to his name, 6 from Wimbledon, 5 from the US, 3 from the Australian and 1 from the French Open which he will surely add too. But to the topic creator, there is one man who can match him...Rafael Nadal...oh well the rivalry goes on :D

That was an incredible match. 30 games in the final set? Amazing. I feel bad for Roddick, he played so well, but Federer just edged him out in the end.

Yeah, I watched the whole thing. I'm a huge Federer fan, so I was glad he won, but Roddick played unbelievably well, especially considering how many times Federer has easily beaten him in the past.

As seen from today, Andy can match him. A few years ago before Nadal came onto the scene, it would be Roddick vs. Federer in just about every final, and Roddick never did as well as he did today.

God, the match between Roddick and Federer was epic. The third set went to 16-14 (I think) in the tie-breaker. It was one of the best tennis matches I've ever seen. Not many people can push Federer like that, but when someone does, it's amazing to watch.

I think Roddick gave it away - too many unforced errors and he choked when he was up 6-2 in the 2nd set tiebreaker

Yeah, unforced errors are usually what makes a person lose a match...especially Serena Williams.

I don't think it was the pressure, he's a pretty well-accomplished tennis player. He has experience. It's just that Federer is too damn good! :x

taj7575

In a match like this, you feel bad for whoever loses, because they came sooooo close, and played so well, but only have 2nd place to show for it.
