I'm not, haven't even bothered to register or consider what the candidates position on anything is. I think the only difference anyone can make is by not voting.

I'm not. But it's calculated apathy.

Massachusetts will be giving their electoral college votes to Obama. Me voting for or against will have no effect.

As I say it, you can either waste your vote, sell your vote, or not vote at all. It usually comes down to who you'd rather NOT have as president of the US.

Ofcourse there's an obligation to my country and reponsibility as a citizen of the US to voice my opinion, but I do not see a point in voting or not voting. Voting for one candidate over the other isn't going to solve the problems were facing and nor is it going to end the war and magically restore everything to balance. Whichever candidate wins, I don't see much difference in how things will change.

Of course. 15 minutes of my time is well spent to have my opinion *very, very, very slightly* heard. Probably doesnt mean much, but at least If McCain takes the presidency I can say it wasnt my fault.

You're a nice person. I will NOT be driving around my hood, too many crack heads and generally terrible people. I might get stabbed and then jacked.

Apathy is a destructive disease. Every vote counts and humans have struggled for thousands of years to have the right to voice change and opinion through the act of voting. Not voting is a spit in the face of the millions of people that have fought and died for the priviledge to play a role in the course of history and government. It is really sad when apathetic, spoiled people take for granted the struggle our ancestors have endured for the rights we enjoy today. Here's an idea...let's all just eat lots of junk food, live in 8x8 boxes and pretend noting exists outside our little cubicle....wouldn't that be a safe, happy little place to spend our meaningless existence?!

i'm not, and never have. i always hate all the candidates. everyone says that it's there right/duty to vote, but its also my right to NOT vote if i think the candidates suck ass, which they always do. and my one little vote wont matter anyway, it would not have kept that douche bag bush out of office.

There is more to vote for than just president. Local propositions and ordinances also hinge on your vote. People are so narrow minded on National politics that they forget stuff like that.

There are a lot of people who don't vote, thats how people like Bush get elected. People just B**** and moan but never take the time to act. Political parties count on people like you to get un-popular people into office.

i didnt vote because none of the candidates appealed to me, and its probably not going to do much good to vote for the other guy just because you hate the other even more. and god forbid if i decided to vote for a party that was NOT democrat or republican.
