I'm not. But it's calculated apathy.
Massachusetts will be giving their electoral college votes to Obama. Me voting for or against will have no effect.
I'll vote... on that poll of yours... live in Sweden so I'm probably not gonna vote for any of those candidates you were talking about, whoever they are >.>Hungry_bunnyPfft. Did you know that within Sweden resides that highest amount of cool people per total population?

[QUOTE="TenP"]Not only is it a privilege and a right to vote, it oughta be a responsibility.bsman00
why would i if the media selected 2 people i dont like... i would vote for nader but its probably a waste
As I say it, you can either waste your vote, sell your vote, or not vote at all. It usually comes down to who you'd rather NOT have as president of the US.
Not only will i vote, but i will call everyone i know and make sure they have, then drive around the hood all day offering rides to polling places to anyone i think has not voted.TBoogy
You're a nice person. I will NOT be driving around my hood, too many crack heads and generally terrible people. I might get stabbed and then jacked.
Apathy is a destructive disease. Every vote counts and humans have struggled for thousands of years to have the right to voice change and opinion through the act of voting. Not voting is a spit in the face of the millions of people that have fought and died for the priviledge to play a role in the course of history and government. It is really sad when apathetic, spoiled people take for granted the struggle our ancestors have endured for the rights we enjoy today. Here's an idea...let's all just eat lots of junk food, live in 8x8 boxes and pretend noting exists outside our little cubicle....wouldn't that be a safe, happy little place to spend our meaningless existence?!Joystick_n_hand
The funny thing, is that no one in my family is going to vote (and if anyone has, they havn't said anything).
Of course. No vote, no complaining for the next 4 years.btaylor2404
But what if you dislike the person you vote for? Can you hate on him then?

Of course.i'm not, and never have. i always hate all the candidates. everyone says that it's there right/duty to vote, but its also my right to NOT vote if i think the candidates suck ass, which they always do. and my one little vote wont matter anyway, it would not have kept that douche bag bush out of office.AlexKidd5000There is more to vote for than just president. Local propositions and ordinances also hinge on your vote. People are so narrow minded on National politics that they forget stuff like that.
Of course. No vote, no complaining for the next 4 years.btaylor2404i'll **** all i want. even if i voted, and voted against bush, it would not have changed the outcome of that idiot winning twice. and i ****ed all i wanted.

People just B**** and moan but never take the time to act. Political parties count on people like you to get un-popular people into office.
