Why Are Jews Hated So Much Throughout History?

I mean c'mon, they blamed them for the Black Plague, Hitler hated them, and they say the antichrist will slaughter the Jews. Why are Jews hated so much throughout history?

People consider them the Original Teacher's Pet. We all know how we treated the Teacher's Pet when we were in school.

They were successful merchants in many cases..so that may be one of the contributing factors..

Well a big reason is because they don't acknowledge jesus the way christians do.. so alot of christian countries really persecuted them.

I think its mostly this. They are big enough to be noticed but still small enough to be bossed around by nearl any other religion or cluture. Its always easy to blame a big enough minority for the problems of the world.

Well, according to The Bible, in the years before Christ, most of the bad things that happened to the Jews were a result of disobedience to God. After Jesus, everyone hated on them because, well, they rejected and were responsible for His death.

Certain groups that practice Judaism follow a very racist ideology, where those who are not real Jews cannot be part of the circle. It inherently promotes power and economic seeking which is only shared by the circle. This is what happened quite often throughout history and it pisses some people off. This happens throughout history if we look at all the many examples, but we happen to live in a country that does not mind this level of control since its mutually beneficial to us. So it's not really Jews ( if we are talking about the race ) that have been hated, but those who practice certain kinds of it. That's what I tend to have seen at least.SquatsAreAwesom

The German people bought Adolf's Bull**** because they weredesperate and willing to believe in anythingwould fix the collapse. Plenty of Jews follow tenents in which they attempt to hoard power and assets amongst themselves. Are you honestly going to deny this?

As for conversions, this depends entirely on your ideological beliefs and isn't shared by all the Jews. Not every practicing Jew and Rabbi believes in the same ideologies you do.

American Jews != Zionist Jews != Azkanazi Jews != Sephardic Jews != Orthodox Jews != Ethnic Jews

There are so many flavors of Judism that pretending that they all follow your perspective is laughable.

* Just look at the conversion bill that is highly debated in Israel right now. One that is so controversial that the heads of your state claim it will can split the nation to the extent that groups will stop marrying amongst each other. Why is this controversial? because based on Orthodox Rabbinical Law, many of the "Jewish Converts" that exist today aren't even technically Jewish. Many of the Russian migrants for example would not be categorized as Jews because of their highly mixed non-Jewish lineage.

* You just jailed a man for two years for rape. When all he did was say he had a Jewish name, but it turns out hes Arab. LOL... WTF?

* The MASSIVE protests in Israel by Orthodox Ashkenazi Jews who don't want their kids going to school with Sephardic Jews. Why? Because the Arab-looking / Middle Easter / Sephardic Jews aren't "Jewish enough".
