Girls can wear mens clothing, but if a guy wears female clothings (or make up) he's either gay a pervert, or both

Pants, shorts, t-shirt.......... boring. Plus cute guys (aka not me) are ****ing sexy in a dress, yet its rarely seen.

Anyone have an answer to this conundrum.

Updated - Added pics of cute guys in dresses to prove it can be done.

I have no answer, but I often ask myself the same question. More cute men should feel comfortable dressing up as women. :(

I'm fine with it if it's in anime/manga/very feminine looking boys, but I don't want to see some buff hairy man walking around with a dress.

A man wearing a skirt looks more outrageous than a woman wearing shorts..... Society generally doesn't like it when people do outrageous things.

They can and should be able to, free of scrutiny. However, we live in a thriving hypocrisy so such lighthearted choices in attire are viewed as worthy of assault by those opposed to it.

I only like it when the character is always dressed as a girl, not some sort of scenario of the storyline. The best traps are the ones that reveal they are traps after a lot of time has passed.

no they're not. =| If you're a guy, and you wanna' pull off a dress while looking good, you're a guy that looks like an attractive girl. A typical man in a dress sporting almost any cut will at worst look super wrong, at best not really promote what we find masculine and thus generally attractive.

That's because a woman in "men's" clothes is neutral to androgynous looking. A guy in a dress looks like a guy in a dress :|

 Good call Spazz. Its just.... wrong in so many ways. Not to mentiion awkward. In certain cultures (ex: Scottish) the "dresses" that they wear are just part of that culture. Look in the pokemon games. How many male "Expert" Trainers do you battle that where a "dress"?

We can, it's just not widely accepted.

But hey. On the bright side, the taboo status of traps provides you and others with your little subject for shock value and "edgy" deviant position. Otherwise neither this thread nor your blog would exist.

so, your dream guy would be a transvestite? If we take this thing one step further, you're basically -- in this thread -- wondering why it's not socially acceptable that guys take on the appearances of transvestites. Well for starters, they'd look like transvestites, and transvestites have a habit of raising an eye-brow or two, taking some of their more flamboyant public mannerisms into consideration. It's basically too difficult and frankly too much to ask, for people to differentiate between a guy in a dress walking down the street, and a full-fledged transvestite walking down the street. The absolute is inclined to judge the medium as well in the public eye, that's unfortunately (one could say i guess) the way things generally work, sociologically speaking.

I wear this when i'm in Saudi (note that is not me in the photo.. it's also fitting as i call Saudi and America both home...)

some call it a dress, but it's not associated as feminine.

eh.. i won't share my own thoughts on the subject. not exactly politically correct... i'm pretty liberal, but on certain social standards i'm old school.
