Why do girls think that boys aren't as 'mature' as they are?

No, instead they go "omg that boy looked at me we're going to have babies some day" and then whine and say they hate boys to everyone because they completely misinterpreted a simple eye-contact thing in the hallway or something. >_>

And yes this is a stereotype, but so is the boy thing you mentioned. Both are true to an extent though. But still, girls can too. Just last night in OT there was a girl whining about how she posted a fake picture of herself so she could be told she looked pretty. That's pretty pathetic too.

Because in a way, technically, they are.

The onset of puberty for females is, on average, 2 years before the onset for males. This creates mental differences between little kiddies that lasts for the larger part of puberty.

Why do you think teenage girls more often than not prefer older guys? They understand earlier what makes a mature male more attractive than a juvenile jock with ants in his pants.

But its not always true. Once you get past puberty, I'm going to have to say its the reverse, even if I get called sexist. I know alot of guys will understand what I mean. Its part of the 'yeah honey I know, I understand thats great, uhuh, I'm totally listening, keep going, honestly' situation that you will discover.

And what IS maturity for that matter? If a girl calls you immature, but you KNOW that she spends a ridiculous amount of time focusing on superficial things like make-up and gossip columns what exactly are you meant to think? It doesn't actually GET more childish than voyueristic tendancies towards famous peoples' lifestyles.

But of course, you don't tell them this to their face, do you?
