Yes I understand the issue with the emails and Iraq war and what not.

But it just seem more people are choosing Trump just because they hold genuine dislike to Hillary, even though they don't agree with everything Trump says.

  1. Hillary supports the TPP
  2. HIllary's hawkish foreign policy could risk increasing tensions between the US and Russia.
  3. Hillary despite calling herself a progressive, is more of a follower in the progressive movement as opposed to a leader. She was late on the same sex marriage party, and she was a goldwater girl.
  4. Hillary's history with freedom of speech has been questionable. HOWEVER, she hasnt actually done anything about it in a while now, so I dont think this is a very good argument.
  5. Some of her rhetoric is really bad "First woman president"
  6. Called for more US forces to be deployed in Iraq and Syria to combat DAESH
  7. Voted in favor of the Wall Street bailout.
  8. Opposes the Glass-Steagall Act
  9. Voted in Favor of the PATRIOT Act, opposing the 4th amendment
  10. Tried to ban flag burning, opposing the 1st amendment
  11. Supported harsher sentencing for prisoners
  12. Hillary's campaign makes me wonder wtf they are doing, she is down to a 1.5 point lead despite trump making a complete ass of himself in the past month. She abandons her progressive base, and instead starts trying to pander to neocons.
  13. Which reminds me, she is a panderer.
  14. Yet her attempts to appeal to millenials has been staggeringly bad. "Pokemon GO! to the polls"
  15. Right Wing Social Justice Warriors hate her too because she (correctly) stated that half of Trump Supporters are deplorable.

Cause shes unstoppable. For 40+ years they have been trying to bring her down and still no progress. Meanwhile Republicans have to disown their elected officials. Trump shatted on the Tea Party, both Bushs, Ted Cruz, Romney, McCain, and many more. They have to change party members and reform their party every couple years.

Also shes a women, and terrorist and many more hate women in power. Democrats love their elected officials, we cant get rid of them. Majority of Dems leaders have awesome track records and have been in office for a very long time.

That's like a 10th of her insanity. Off top, you dont list anything about how she bribed her way into a senate seat, how she let the Bosnian genocide go on two more years because she convinced Bill to do nothing so she could release her healthcare plan in a good political climate, playing the race card on Obama in the 08 election, and the speaking of women's rights when she is one of the biggest backers of the House of Saud in the USA. Or how about her and her husbands absurd plans to bring in thousands of Syrian refugees into the US, instead of letting Muslims escaping other Muslims in Muslim countries deal with the consequences of their ideology.

And to correct something for you, she has no progressive base. She never had, and the only people who think she is a progressive are sycophants, fools, or both.

Because they think she orchestrated Benghazi attacks to kill US citizens because she hates America and takes her marching orders from Barack HUSSEIN(!!!) Obama who is secretly a Muslim manchurian candidate sleeper agent sent here decades ago by the Soviet Union to undermine traditional American values with universal healthcare by mandating sex change operations and gay marriage so people have gay sex, get pregnant, and have abortions as a sacrifice to Satan, and they hope to accomplish all this by staging mass shootings so Obama can send out his army of criminal blacks and illegal alien Mexicans to take your guns away and put all white people in FEMA death camps. You might think I'm full of shit but I'm not, righties believe this shit they're just too afraid to admit it out of fear the reptilians will retaliate against them.

The e-mail fiasco is a reason a lot of people that are more familiar with both information security as well as classified information are against her. To your average civilian, it is no big deal and just another one of many things Republicans are trying to use to lower her standing in the election. The stuff Trump does is more out in the open and doesn't require any special knowledge to see it is pretty damaging.

But to anyone that is familiar with the possibility of foreign adversaries hacking into her account and having possession of highly classified information, it makes them worried about what she may do when she is president and has access to even more sensitive information. To this day, people don't know if any of the information she had on her server (whether it was deleted or not prior to the investigation) is in the hands of Russia, China, ISIS, or anyone else that may not have our best interests in mind.

Other than that, some people are upset that she was pretty much told "don't do it again," while other people that mishandled classified information were reprimanded, fired, and/or (mostly in the case of people in the military) sent to prison. Especially after the director of the FBI went down the list of violations she committed then said that nobody would prosecute her, so she won't be charged.

The Iraqi War was used by some to call her a flip flop, but it isn't something I would really use against her, since people can change their mind over time.

As for your statement that people are choosing Trump out of a dislike for her, it works both ways. There are a lot of people that are upset with Clinton, but in their opinion, Trump is so bad that they would still vote for her just to keep him out of office.

She has changed her positions on numerous political issues. And either lied or dodged questions when confronted by guys like Anderson Cooper. Or lessen known people such as a conservative radio show. Hence the video below.

https://youtu.be/-dY77j6uBHI

So while Trump hasn't always done himself favors to win voters. Hilliary seems like she'll say anything to get elected. And won't have a problem dumping her supporters to go with whats popular. And make her corporate buddies happy for their massive donations at the expense of average Americans. So if someone feels like Trump is the lesser evil. I really wouldn't be interested in making an effort to defend Hillary. Her morals are all over the place. And her policies are unpredictable at this point. Something that causes people to lose elections.

She's only pushing the status quo. Politicians of this era do not represent the values of people and that's why people do not vote.

From a non-American perspective, she just seems like a textbook politician... not very trustworthy and speaks to people like they're all idiots (we have a similar politician here in Aus).

But I'd definitely rather her than Trump.

1. She is a liar. I don't trust her 1 bit.

2. She is not medically fit to be president. She constantly has falls and seizures. We have tons of video footage as proof.

3. She isn't likeable. I know that might not seem like a good reason, but it's important for millions of people. It's like she doesn't know how to have any fun or interact with normal people. I can't relate to her.

This is a strange reason in my opinion. Hillary is most likely never going to interact with the millions of people who find this to be a problem in all likelihood. Even so the "I could potentially enjoy myself with this person" is a terrible reason to vote for someone, I want elected officials to be better than myself in both experience at being a politician as well as education level. If that means they are less relatable as a byproduct that's fine by me.

Oh believe me, I could have listed a LOT more if I wanted to. You listed one I was going to add, but I was tired and forgot. The bit about supporting the House of Saud is something I had in mind when writing the post, but I forgot to include it.

Alongside the fact, that Hillary's older tough on crime stance, and Bill Clinton's 3 strike system is a pretty damn large reason so many minorities (which she claims to support) are in such terrible conditions. US incarceration according to recent research costs 1 trillion every year. And most of the people spending that money are the communities affected.

So while she claims to have the backs of both, she is screwing over women worldwide (by indirectly supporting Wahhabism) and screwing over racial minorities in the US (with her previous stances on crime). Utterly despicable.

Yeah, treats people like morons by helping them 9/11 first responders get health care, by helping millions of children get access to health care, and by helping cancer patients and 9/11 widows cut the red tape of dealing with private, for-profit health care providers. What an evil, heartless bitch who treats everyone like a moron.

OMFG, the low information voters are out in force today...

Yeah, you might wanna check on how the medical care for 9/11 first responders has actually been carried out. Helping millions of children get healthcare? When did she do that? With her wonderful mid 90s plan that did not pass?

Tell me, what do you think about her lying about dodging sniper fire in Bosnia, or her role in the war as a whole? What about her talking about women's rights, despite taking money from some of the most despotic and anti women countries on the planet, like Saudi Arabia? What about the extremely flippant way she discussed the murder of Gaddafi in Libya, instead of putting him on trial under the rule of international law? What about her repeated refusal to support the gay and lesbian community until 2013, when it was politically expedient? What about her large part in creating the 3 strikes rule in the legal system, something that screwed over minorities? What about the years she covered up her husband's serial whoring, turning the white house into a bordello, and simply stated it was a conservative conspiracy? Remember how she worked to silence the women who accused her husband of sexual misconduct?

You sound like the low information voter you malign.

She lost my vote when she clapped to "There is a special place in hell for women who don't help other women." It's roughly why I believe Obama saying he will take it as a personal insult if black peeps don't vote for Hillary is a mistake. I mean if the podium is going to be all about that stuff, then I guess I should be voting for the white guy since I'm a white guy, you know? I mean I'd vote Bill back in in a heartbeat, but after seeing how bad he's been treated lately from his own team/camp/family I'd not even consider his presence alone in the white house worthy of any weight anymore.

So white guy, voting for the white guy! Cause I don't wanna go to hell for not supporting other white guys.

For me, her being a war criminal, a warmonger and a war profiteer is a large part of the reason.

Here's a (not necessarily complete) list of victim nations:

  • Serbia
  • Iraq
  • Libya
  • Ukraine
  • Syria
  • Palestine
  • Honduras

She is a normal ambitious politician. They hate her because the internet is in full swing and people spread a lot of crap around. Some of our great previous presidents were worse then her but no Internet or everyone owning a smart phone. Obama was an exception, he did not openly display his ambitious nature, so he wasn't tossed around the internet in a bad way.

She will make a good president for this country and a lot of people in here are gonna look bad when she does.

@SOedipus: Its called compromising mate. She is running on our Democratic Parties issues, not just her own. She will continue to change with us.

Hillary says shes against gay marriage, we tell her no, you are now for gay marriage. Hillary runs for us, the people. She adopted the Elizabeth Warren issues before she started to run, we told her to. Its why we backed her and not Bernie. Bernie refused to compromise with our party.

@iandizion713:

Well said, and no, she is not a horrible person, no matter what the Republican tools on here like to say.

She will be good for the country, that's the bottom line. At worst, she will be a solid holding place for 4 years until we get a good replacement. At best she will be progressive on climate change, improve education and costs, help prevent guns from getting to people who shouldn't have them, improve Obamacare, and move the Supreme Court to reflect the American people. Just needs to dispose of the lying, clueless, narcissistic circus clown Trump, a guy even Republicans don't want to back.

Thank God my fellow Pennsylvanians aren't stupid enough for Trump to win here.

What about the years she covered up her husband's serial whoring, turning the white house into a bordello, and simply stated it was a conservative conspiracy? Remember how she worked to silence the women who accused her husband of sexual misconduct?

You sound like the low information voter you malign.

Bu bu bu bu but Bill Clinton is a rapist and Hillary an enabler blah blah blah blah. Let me guess, she murdered Vince Foster too? Aaaaaaaaaand emails argle barle and pay for play blahbitty blah blah blah.

GTFO with that stupid right-wing loon propaganda nonsense.

We all know that Republicans have been cutting aid to 9/11 first responders and to the VA for years. Republicans are the greatest danger this country has ever faced!

http://thehill.com/policy/healthcare/132907-health-bill-for-911-workers-fails-key-vote

Did it again in Nov 2015...

http://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/9-11-first-responders-sen-mcconnell-stop-blocking-bill-n473071

http://usuncut.com/politics/happy-veterans-day-5-times-republicans-in-congress-screwed-veterans/

http://www.blogs.va.gov/VAntage/19356/how-1-4-billion-in-budget-cuts-will-impact-veterans/ - 200+ republicans voted to cut VA benefits. See how easy it is to claim that something doesn't work when you spend years making sure that it doesn't?

I am very happy that the Clinton Foundation is taking billions from places like Saudi Arabia and using it for good! It's exactly what they should be doing!

CHIP - millions of kids have health care because of it. Read that again - MILLIONS of kids. She played a significant role in getting is passed. Of course you know nothing of this because you're a typical low information voter, probably a conservative. MILLIONS of children are still benefiting from it every single day. This is what helping people is!

http://www.factcheck.org/2008/03/giving-hillary-credit-for-schip/

Washington Times, Aug. 6, 1997: The plan signed into law yesterday by Mr. Clinton and pushed by the first lady is a duplicate of the 4-year-old health care task force idea, except that it is paid for by a 15-cent tax on cigarettes. One of the co-authors of the plan, Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, Massachusetts Democrat, credited Mrs. Clinton for her "invaluable help, both in the fashioning and the shaping of the program."

Wow....wow.

A. I am not a conservative. Contrary to what you seem to believe, one does not need to call oneself a liberal, then support each and every person who calls themselves a liberal as well.

So, when there was a Democratic President in office, with a democratic majority in the house and senate, they pushed all those fabled first responder programs through? Oh wait, no, no they did not.

The clinton foundation is a laundering scheme. You show yourself as a sycophant by supporting it without reserve. The House of Saud is making an investment, and this is obvious to any thinking person who does not drink the kool aid her inept campaign pushes out.

I find it funny you simply brush Bill Clinton's sexual indiscretions and Hilary's support of her cheating husband, and you probably believe she is really there for other women!! Hilarious!!!!

How has her little education plan worked out? Probably as well as the Common core and No Child Left Behind programs.

Please address the other issues I brought up, or not. But please, do not expect to be taken seriously when you bring forth arguments on the level of "No, no, no, she was a great secretary of state! Look at all her frequent flyer miles!!!" She is a textbook example of a someone born into privilege managing to fail upwards her entire life.

I can hear you saying "No!!!! Neocon hatchet job.....by Christopher Hitchens......."

Really, it's ok to find Trump AND Hilary as the absurd clowns they both are. Your body will not tear in half, but maybe the partition in your head might lower a bit.

People dislike Hillary for tons of legit reasons. From her constant lies to her rigging the election and everything in between. The only reason she will get votes is because she is running against possibly the worst candidate of all time..

@hillelslovak: Hitchens is wrong on both. Hillary has been a church person since her younger days when she was a Protestant and helped out the church. Plus her charities. Also Obama has a church record also. Just cause Hitchens thinks they might not believe that stuff, doesnt mean they dont. Hes just guessing.

Her level of religiosity is one of a slew of examples and subjects Hitchens addressed. Hell, I never believed in Jesus, and was an avid evangelist and helper in anything related to churches in my town. Does not mean she believes any of it.

@hillelslovak: Its too hard to follow because the whole video is just snips and most taken out of context. Hitchens actually liked both Obama and Bill Clinton a lot. He didnt agree on everything, but he did on a lot of issues.

@hillelslovak: And it also doesnt matter whether they believe in god or not, America is still a god country with only like what, 22% who dont associate with a religion? We are not gonna get a non believer as President for awhile.

He wrote No one left to lie to, a scathing indictment of Bill Clinton, and frequently spoke long and loud about how not only were Clinton's policies terrible, but he and his wife were terrible people. He also called Obama a megalomaniac narcissist. He did not like them at all.

We have already had atheist presidents. Problem is, you have to affirm your beliefs in fantasy to have a chance in any election. The Rocket Scientist who does not read his bible will be beaten by the actor who does.

@hillelslovak: He did not like some of their polices, but what about the polices he did like? You do know Hitchens endorsed Obama? Yes, politics is a dirty game. Were not locking for a rocket scientist, were looking for a public speaker and debater. We need someone who can lead and stand for the majority of our party.

Im sure you understand, if we just elected the smartest dude as our representative of the majority, they might have countless weaknesses. Not only that, but they might have problems getting others to agree with them.

@hillelslovak: While you are correct that we are a ways away from electing an atheist president we do currently have a president who has pursued an evidence based agenda. This has gotten more true on a myriad of issues as Obama was pushed to pursue a solution to climate change. In a large way I feel this is why many atheists wish to have an atheist president in the first place, to pursue solutions to problems can be backed by scientific evidence and data.

@KungfuKitten: Lol, i use to joke with people and tell them Biden/Obama 2016. Theres no rule that a Vice President cant run for President, and no rule that a President cant run for Vice President. Although it would be very hard to do.

He supported Obama, because he did not want another Clinton to be in the White House. He clearly stated this, along with remarking after every Obama speech, that it was nothing but rhetoric. He repeatedly went on shows like Morning Joe and chastised them for being foolish enough to believe the hype.

We are not looking for a public speaker or skilled debater, and the Republican field this election shows that. They are professors of rhetoric and fundraising.

Yes, his approach was vastly better on scientific issues than the Bush administration. However, the lengths at which politicians must bend over backwards to appeal to the religious majority is till a huge problem. It still puts up a huge impediment in the way of scientific research. I understand that it is not politically expedient for him to pull a Goldwater and tell the religious right to shove it, but I dont see why a path has to be beaten to these people's doorsteps. The leaders of the religious right have nothing to say on any issue, other than to display their own ignorance, so men like Obama throw them a bone, and let them have a seat at the adult table.

@effec_tor: Why? Cause she was lied to about weapons of mass destruction by the Republicans? Bush admitted the lie and that the war was a mistake? Then we got stuck with the Republican wars? You do know Republicans have never won a war in America's history? Liberals have always had to clean up the mess.

This is why. She's a try-hard, pandering loser who's seemingly dying trying to keep up with Trump.
