Now we all know that Fox news tends to fall on the conservative side of the political spectrum, but why is this such a bad thing? Most of the media has a strong liberal bias, so why is it such a problem that Fox news takes a different angle?

Two wrongs don't make one right. Fox News twists facts to be able to distort the truth and supply their obviously retarded audience with suggestive populist drivel that has the potential to split a country in half if enough people listen to it.

You just answered your own question. I remember when another network did a story about a tea party being held and how white people were brining guns and they showed a person with an AR-15, but not his entire body making it look like he was infact, white while fox had to air the real version showing the person was really black. The person didn't fit the story, but they went ahead and just changed how the video was being taken. Every network leans toward one side, most of them lean to the left, while fox leans to the rightNow we all know that Fox news tends to fall on the conservative side of the political spectrum, but why is this such a bad thing? Most of the media has a strong liberal bias, so why is it such a problem that Fox news takes a different angle?

Can't really comment on the issue because I don't really watch/read American news that often, but you do know "faux" is not pronounced "fox" don't you?
Yes, but since this is a text-based medium and not a spoken one, the pun holds up just fine...[QUOTE="spawnassasin"]The Mass Effect story still makes me facepalm to this day.cause of BS like this

If you just go on youtube and type fox news just about every clip will make you facepalm.
Most of what they present as news is not even news. It's commentary, where the commentators don't even attempt to hide their bias.Engrish_Major
this
its not so much the bias that bothers me, it is the fact they consider themselves news, and others consider them news.
If they were called FOX Editorial Channel, or FOX Educated Opinions Channel, or something like that, I'd be fine with it.
But theyre abusing their power, plain and simple. Other news networks do have a bias, but they are relatively objective compared to FOX News, and those channels actually present the news in a factual manner.

Fox News would give news about a hate crime against a Caucasian, but I don't think CNN or MSNBC would EVER do that. I will only be convinced unless someone gives me a link.
I hate it when people call Fox News biased. I'm sure CNN and others are biased, too.
I never watch the news as much as I used to though.:(
Yes, that must be it :lol:Because its too hard for people to argue about the issues so its easier for them to just discredit the source.

You know, I was wondering the same thing. We understand every news outlet has some sort of bias (since it is a business after all, and must cater to it's customers) but Fox goes above and beyond the call of duty. And sometimes they outright lie, or mislead.[QUOTE="SeanDog123"]

Nah they probably wouldn't report that. All the major cable "News" channel are pretty biased. I use to watch MSNBC for world news but it really just became a Bush bashing channel during his term and I stopped watching it. Actually I stopped watching the news altogether I just read it now. I don't like any of the commentators or so called reporters.
Because they try to manipulate dumb people into their ridiculous crap. And often they succeed.
hungry_pirate
You mean kind of like what CNN and MSNBC do with their audience.
There is no difference between CNN's Anderson Cooper or Wolf Blitzer and Fox's Bill O'Rielly or Gretta Van Sustern, commentary from both political leanings not unbiased news reporting. Every "News Organization" has their political leanings, from Time to the National Review. It just so happens that most people on these forums have leftist leanings and a bias against conservative "news" (commentary).

Um...no. O_O[QUOTE="gamerguru100"]I hate it when people call Fox News biased. I'm sure CNN and others are biased, too.DraugenCP

A bias can only be determined by you the individual. If you are a liberal then yes Fox is biased on the other hand if your a conservative then CNN is biased. You create your own opinion.

sorry about that posted the right video
It's not because fox news is conservative, it's because they're morons. Most of what they call news is just their opinions on things presented as news.XilePrincessNot to mention they give political figures pundit jobs, and these same political figures complain about the liberal media.

I assuming your being sarcastic because that video is from over a year ago when he was still on CNN and the fact that he doesn't work for Fox. His only job is that of Radio Host which competes directly with Sean Hannity's radio broadcast. You do see Sean Hannity as a conservative right?

I'm watch MSNBC and Foxnews on a daily basis. The only 2 people I find reasonable on any channel are Chris Matthews and Bill O'Reilly. The rest of them are kinda nutty to extremely nutty.
