I have never encountered a 'scene kid' before. Probably evidence that I don't get out much...

I hate any and all teenagers who try to follow a fashion. Actually, I just hate teenagers in general...

Because its just a stupid juvenile sub culture, if you can call it that... and a trendy fad for teens.

I doubt most of those kids will continue to look the style once they get older. The "males" are detestable except for the girls at times, and they can be very annoying. My school is crawling with them.

Not to mention that their "core" music is pretty bad and annoying to listen to when they feel the need to crank it up on their psp or any other electronic device at school.

If someone put others down because of the way they dress, it's either for that reason or the fact they're just a prick.

I played Mirror's Edge and fell in love with it. And I don't like keeping the same avatar/sig for extended periods of time.

I sure as hell wouldn't wanna see a 30 year or older guy still dressed in such a flamboyant style, he'd get laughed at that I know for sure, or get stared at. Or maybe get beat up.

That kind of style is best suited for kids and teens until they grow out of it.

There is nothing wrong with them, they are not Nazis, they are not preaching hate, they are not fanatics threatening to destroy civilization. Their fashion is far too high maintenance for my taste but they don't deserve to be hated like other social groups.
