[QUOTE="mrbojangles25"]... its tough to cook for one person.entropyecho
I beg to differ :Pyea, I know lol. I can cook for myself, its not a problem.
but Ive been cooking for my family since I was six years old. I learned to count, multiply, and divide when I was young by measuring stuff out for my mom. I would wake up on Saturdays and watch Juila Child, Jacques Pepin, Yan Can Cook, and Secrets of the CIA (Culinary Institute of America)...if there were cartoons on after those shows, then I'd watch GI Joe and Transformers.
As a result, my whole life I have been cooking for four people or more. When I went to school, I always had four or more roommates. I worked in a restaurant and catered, so I ended up cooking for hundreds.
Its tough for me to scale down from a lifetime of cooking for groups to just cooking for myself. My shopping habits still think "Feed for a family" not "feed for one". I think thats part of the reasonI am so large lol, I am used to cooking something for four people and sharing it, but now I have a large amount of food for one person.
